Oh the money is the thing I'd be the least concerned about since GOD DAMMIT AIN'T NOBODY GOT SACE FOR THAT STUFF YET WE STILL COLLECT EM NO MATTER WHAT
If you want to seriously collect some manga I’d recommend some shorter series. Planetes is only two volumes, a silent voice is seven and then there’s one shots like saying goodbye to eri or jjk volume zero since it’s a standalone prequel you can read on its own. Omnibus’s and box sets are also great for longer series if you’re looking to save some money and I’ve often bought books in great condition used or during sales during either summer or Christmas time. I also don’t recommend starting a bunch of series make sure you like something and dedicate your self to it so for instance i probably have less than a dozen series on my selves but it’s all either complete or as up to date as it can be. If you’re itching to just read check out your local library mangas gotten pretty mainstream in the last couple of years. Ok bye hope this helped.
@@SorenGoudarzi-gk5by it certainly can be. One book sure $10 ain’t much, a whole series? That adds up quick and if you have several series like most people do it will eat up a lot of your disposable income which not every one has because some people are kids without a job I had like a couple books when I was in middle school, some people are just poor don’t be judgmental because you’ve got money.
@@blakedavis2447he’s right though manga itself is not expensive, what you’re talking about is a collection and one doesn’t have to buy them all in one day you can save up pretty easily
As someone who’s been collecting for about 2 years, starting sets instead of finishing sets you’ve already finished will be really hard to avoid but you should try to finish sets first before buying new ones :)
Yessss, I completed the spy x family set (I know there will be more), I started to buy Mob psycho ones but then I just wanted the Mashle set soooooo bad so I bought one 😔
small tipp for collecting go look for places where you can best buy them a bit cheaper (trust me its gonna be worth it in the end if you find a good place)
In my opinion you should start with one anime at a time just so you can finish one collection first then the next but thats just me so do whats best for you!
Wow! I’m 10 and I just started getting into Manga and Anime. I found Spy x Family vol. 1. I loved it then my mom ordered my vol. 2 and 3! Great! I got another Manga aswell so I hope I can get more!
I recommend demon slayer and if you like entertaining stuff but also a bit complicated Death note is good also I recommend box sets you save more also Naruto is good
its very expensive in philippines, it cost like 500 for the official i think but if its like just printed or second hand its 250+ pesos, thats why im saving up to buy jjk✋😞
been collecting since a year as a student, only could collect jjk 0-9, vinland saga 1-5 and csm 1-5 in turkish and volumes 9-13 in english (manga sector is pretty slow here with one volume per 4-6 months)
I have all of Jjk , demon slayer , one piece , dbz , dbs , naruto , my hero academia , tokyo ghoul , tokyo avengers , Rurouni kenshin , Db , Naruto shippuden , boruto , Exectra...
I had started my collection with Uzumaki, I highly recommend it if you like horror manga, and I recently bought THE death note full box set, I also recommend it
I have three mangas: Demon Slayer vol. 15 and vol.16 and a yuri manga which is called: A tropical fish yearns for snow, and its too adorable and cute! Definitely recommend.
good for you man I started this year and I already have 12 so don't worry it's expensive as hell but soon enough you'll be a proud owner of a decent manga collection the tricky part is which manga are worth buying (technically all of them but nobody's that rich)
You should get berserk premium edition thing (The black one with red text) It is quite big but looks really good also the story is good, the vagabond vizbig collection is really good, when you get all 13 of the books it will make 1 big image when combined and finally vinland saga, the colors look so good when combined
I remember when i first started it all started when i bought Oshi No ko the anime w Ai Hoshino and i loved it then i bought tbhk bc i heard the manga had alot of things the show didnt have and then i spent 200++ dollars for demon slayer manga and so on
I bought my first Berserk Deluxe manga 2-3 years but never again because it's expensive of course, but finally today that changed! :D today arrived the manga that bought a few days ago which were 6 more Berserk Deluxe volumes and 2 box sets (CSM & Tokyo Ghoul) on my first buy hehe... now I just a need a shelf to start my collection😌
I love manga and anime so much that I have all demon slayer manga, fairytail from 1-43, Naruto 1-35, jujitsu kaisen 1-7, chainsaw man 1-8, parasyte 1-12, haikyu 1-3 and soo much more
My mom loves it when i read books or comics so i get alot of mangas (we aint rich) i got like the whole collection of jjk what manga should i buy next?
The problem is that you bought a bunch of volume 1’s I recommend that you should just read the first volume of one series and if you like it keep buying more and do it over and over again
I would love to have a manga collection but since it’s alot of money in my country I didn’t really think i would ever have atleast 1 full manga set and this Christmas I’m going to be getting a Demon Slayer full manga box set and im so excited if i get another chance to choose a manga i would choose Spy x Family (Can’t wait😁)
Mine currently is some manga my mom doesn’t want anymore (rurouni kenchin, she also doesn’t have room lol) first volumes of one piece and spyxfamily all 20 volumes of the promised neverland (they are my favorites) and some others. The promised neverland got me hooked though 😂
I was just planning on buying some of my first then looked at the price. Spent 2 hours looking at them all to figure out which one to get. I've read most online. Either get a entire collection or just buy a few single volumes of my favourites is my choice. Or get something I started but never finished like the Raeliana one. (I like romance ones the best which is a awkward pick for my first)
MISTAKE you should only buy 1 manga at a time because if u end up not liking the series, u could just be wasting money, so buy one and finish that manga to see if u like it or not.
