Good video series. I wouldn't count QBP out just based on their "stated" requirements. I contacted them, told them what I bought (Ford Transit Connect) and that due to where I lived I wouldn't be able to wrap it, magnets only. They were fantastic to deal with and I've had an account with them for more than 5 months now. I was also able to do the same with JBI. I am so happy to have these guys on board and it's allowed my business to grow from day 1. Moral of the story is...find a way! Thanks for the videos
The most common box truck thing with a pass through these days is called a cut-away van. Similar to how they build shuttle buses with the little aero cap over the cab.
Started my mobile repair business in a Subaru Impreza with a Kuat NV 2.0 and a pelican case which has a repair stand built into it. Denied from QBP but it is what it is. Got a couple other distributors that are OK for now.

Just found this series and I am loving it! Other than QBP who else is out there to buy parts from at dealer/wholesale pricing for someone trying to start a mobile business but may not be able to get something they can stand in? Was unaware of all their requirements prior to now.
Midway, JBI, BTI, Shimano direct, SRAM direct - I'm sure more now that there is an inventory glut. As long as you have a real business and liability insurance, most wholesalers will sell to you!
That fire truck would be great to take to a muddy CX race and to hose off muddy bikes faster than the competition. But seriously, lots of good ideas here. A trailer and a car is an interesting option. You could satisfy QBP at a lower cost than anything else, and you could choose to bring the trailer or not depending on the job and the weather. Maybe even with an electric car to play up the eco angle and reduce operating costs.
Cybertruck 😁 I do love the idea of having a modular set up with a trailer - slim down as needed. I accomplished that with 2 vehicles, but when you can only choose 1 - easy way to do it! Something with good towing capacity would be great.
You very briefly showed one trailer and mentioned some things about temperature and a generator. Are there other things regarding a trailer that you would highlight? Pros? Cons?
That could almost be its own video. Trailers are cheaper, more flexible (you can drive your car away from it) - harder to drive, more finicky about weight distribution....so many things.
