Greetings from Spain: It is incredible that in its condition that Moskvich 401 is capable of working, well the effort you have put into making it work also has merit. This vehicle was actually a German-made Opel and the former USSR took all the machinery to manufacture it, as war booty and manufactured it under the name of Moskvich, but I see that the workers of the USSR maintained the good German quality in its manufacturing. , is one of the reasons why this vehicle is still able to function...thanks to its good manufacturing quality... The vehicle you show is a good base for a restoration because it is very complete...it does have a lot of work and a good amount of money is needed...
Soviet post-war machines were at one time very good than they are now, Muscovites, Volga. At 60, the GAZ 13 Chaika appeared, the first Soviet limousine with its own automatic transmission
wow you guys can pretty much bring back to life any vehicle!! love this channel, please continue to post these awesome no bs straight to the point videos!! Mexico loves you!
a Muscovite from the Stalin era of the USSR, my grandfather worked in the Urals, making metal for them from real iron ore, and not like now from recycled metal with zinc, that’s why it didn’t rot.
So nice to see a car from a time before plastic was really a thing. And your region looks very much like mine here in the US right now. Muddy, sloppy, probably going back and forth between snow and rain.
TRULY AMAZING THAT THE CAR HAS COME THIS FAR! REALLY INCREDIBLE, I HOPE SOMEONE TAKES IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH SOME SORT OF RESTORATION. THE OLD GIRL DESERVES IT!!!
that is a high quality made engine when it starts and keeps running after sitting outside for 26 years. todays engines fail to soon. the exhaust fumes are blueish, there is some oil burning in the engine, that means there is already some damage in the engine, new oil in the engine would be important to prevent further damage. i like the nice classic forms, how the headlights integrate into the front of the car, the round forms. a new paint and that thing will then look like new.
My Dad had one, his first car, in Arctic Circle, Finland, on Fifties, before my "time", I was born 1960. After that he had Opel, different models, until he passed 1999 =))
Old school vehicle back in 40s and 50s needs everything paint job battery engine is good condition not locked up tires Russian back in time get that girl running as possible friend best mechanic in the world coolist video
Pozdrawiam .Adam
What a beautiful old car. So much class and style. What I would love to see is a car like that left with all the rust and "patina" on the outside but with a modern inside and converted to electric. What s fantastic ride that would be.
What a beautiful car. Thanks for your dedication guys, you give life to the forgoten gems. If i was rich i would suport for this chanel to the content never ends.
That thing looks toast, but, as usual you get it going, when you were dragging it out it was like a dog not wanting to move and sat down. It was happy where it was.
Another miracle! Well done Flexiny.. Always enjoy your work! For me one thing would be better, maybe don't tell us all "+ test drive" .... This would make us anticipate as to whether it would even seem possible! I always look forward to your videos. Thanks.
Thank you for this video. Poor Moskvich died and felt forgotten, but you revived him and he was able to happily hit the road again. 24:27 I'm interested in these rims, but they're probably expensive.
I'm curious, what do you do afterwards with the vehicles that you bring back to life? Storing would be expensive, but instead many are washed by yourself.
Fantastic. I loved seeing this come back to life. Oddly enough, it sounds a lot like my 86 Oldsmobile Calais with the 2.5 Iron Duke/[Lo-]-Tech 4. That made me laugh. Thanks.
