Well done 👏. My z1300 is also 25 years in the shed. Completely overhauling as we speak. Hopefully I get the same feeling in while when pushing the start button for the first time.
Congrats. I worked on a beach buggy a few years ago, it never ran right even though I cleaned everything and even sent it to a shop. I bet it has some serious issues as there was no vacuum leak I could find. Made me sour on carbed engines. Good job!
Thanks for the unsolicited advice. It's really valuable considering this video is almost 3 years old and I rode the bike thousands of miles and sold it for an insane profit.
@benchracing_network Only just seen it now, would have run lot better if it had airbox fitted, CV carbs resistance for sliders to work ,very nice bike, I'm so jealous
I owned and rode it from 1980 to 89 did over 200,000km, striped and rebuild not much I don’t know about that model.main problem Automatic can chain fails bends valves, pickup coil fails runs on 4 cylinders love eating Dunlop sport tyres good commuter bike fun in the wet
