Starting my last NEW city before Cities: Skylines is released! | Vanilla I'm young and I need the money :( patreon.com/imperatur Map: Mountain Taper ( Map Pack CCP ) Music: epidemicsound.com Tags: #citiesskylines #startingnew #nomods
Since the city may be Hawaii inspired, an appropriate name for a final Cities: Skylines 1 island build could be "Mahalo". This is the Hawaiian for 'thank you'. 🏝️
Man. Just so much has time has passed. I still remember watching your Pro Builds his Dream City series from long ago. A name I would have for this city: Espwa Sound. "Sound" is a geographic term for a bay, and "Espwa" stands for hope in Haitian Creole, a beautiful language one of my grandparents spoke.
Very impressed at the level of details in this last vanilla build. Also, Mahalo is a very good name here for the island; something said and heard throughout Hawaii and makes anyone with warm memories of The Aloha State feel good.
THIS IS IT. the pinnacle of vanilla build for cities skylines. no mods? checkl! lastest version? check! ("lastest" too, almost) commentary? check! imperatur, the god-tier builder? check!
I remember your first dream city, where there wasn’t a huge amount of DLC yet, and then only Sunset Harbor DLC came out))) ❤❤❤I love your cities, they are very inspiring, and I'm really looking forward to the release of cities skylines 2 🤩🤩
Someone recommended your channel to me for your base game builds and the detail you put into them, I'm happy that I get to see one come together as this chapter of Cities:Skylines comes to a close. Off to an excellent start!
1. Really nice video! 2. My idea for the name of this city is: San María, because it's sounds like much other cities in south California. 3. I hobe the next video come soon, because I like really your vanilla cities in Cities Skylines.
Shelby United would be a good name. Simple but describes this city as unified, as opposed to something like los hopes or angeles, which are inspired from present cities and doesn't tell much about the city itself.
I cannot wait to see what you can build. You sir are an inspiration to a lot of creative people and communities and I hope that you will continue to be so when CS2 comes out eventually. As for a name suggestion, how does "Hope County" sound. I think it would be symbolic as it represents the end of an era, and the hope for a new one. It is also the name of the main setting in one of my favorite video games, Far Cry 5, where it takes place in a mountainous valley region, kind of like what this map, though without the snow on the mountains.
Hey, Imperatur! I have answers to your question about customizing rail networks using the CC pack. In Kaminogi's stream (CC for Japanese packs), he mentioned his strong desire to create a Japanese railway network and asked if he could create something. However, Colossal Order is strictly against that idea. Additionally, he attempted to add more details to the stations but was told that the current level of detail is sufficient.
Name suggestion: Colina Del Mar; directly translates to sea hills Second name suggestion: Colina Del Sur; directly translates to southern hills The city seems to be loosely based upon southern california type cities which generaly follow more spanish naming schemes. The del sur and del mar endings are also common of some of the US cities near the south western mexico border in cities like San Diego and Los Angeles
Name suggestion: ka lā hopena Translates from hawaiian to "Sunset Destiny" as in, the sunset on C:S1 and destiny as in a destination, but also your destiny because it's the very last build you're making in the game. Can be made into one word as Kalahopena. You could also jusy do Hopena which means "destiny" or "final"
With the palm trees and lots of shrubbery (as well as your description), I'm thinking of Florida names like Cape Coral! Looking forward to learning from you how to build better railways!
Hello Imperatur. I have been a huge fan of your videos for years. You truly are a wizard when it comes to vanilla cities. You've inspired me to start my own Cities Skylines city series on RU-vid. I have Been wanting to do it for years, and I finally have the confidence to do it, partly because of seeing all the amazing things you've done with the vanilla version of the game. You are an inspiration for me. I can really appreciate how much time an effort goes into making videos like this one now, I have done I myself! keep up the amazing work!
it looks like Thessia! I love this city!^^ Then if you intend to build a modern/renovated downtown perhaps for your next suburb try something modern too, like the eco style with some modern commercial from the new mall and shops ccp. it could be a nice transition zone between suburbs and the downtown and it could give some historical evolution thanks to the 70s suburb style close to it.
Ah I can already tell this will be a great city. This is on my favourite map in the game because of the large oil field for massive profits and there’s lots of flat building space.
Maybe name it Puerto Suerte?! It means port of luck in Spanish which i think fits, especially since we need all the luck we can get for cs2 to come soon :)
We already know this will be a great series! As for names I've upvoted the poster who suggested Hope as it means "last" in Hawaiian and in English reflects our feelings for CS2. Carry on yet another meisterwerk 😎
This city gonna be impressive. It's really sad to know that this will be your last city. It's also sad to know that the cities skylines (1) that we loved is coming to the end, but it is also nice to know that the community we build along the way will survive together. See ya guys in Cities:Skylines II 😢🎉
My recommendation is Los Ocetanos (C pronounced like sh) because it is the Spanish words for mountains and oceans combined and you said it would be like Puerto Rico
One last beautiful vanilla city, love tour builds and i Always take inspiration from your cities. Can't wait for other episodes Edit: wait face reveal?!
Name Suggestion: Costa Micha "Costa" is Latin for "coast" and it signifies the coastal beauty, while "Micha" gives the idea of strength and determination.
Point Mokuna Hope. Seeing how everyone's doing Hawaiian and just tropical island names. It's a simplified version of "Ka mokuna hope", which roughly translates to "the last chapter". I hope this isn't the end of Cities Skylines 1 series, but I still thik it's a fitting farewell to your last full major city here. Edit: Maybe other names that you really like can be district names perhaps?
ChatGPT suggests the name ‘Kaiholo’ if you’re going for Hawaiian, or ‘Coraleno’ for Puerto Rican. Nice start to the city, I like it. I’m curious though, what happened to Berlin?
Love this new series, keep it up 😍 can't wait to see how this city develops , i see you're using a few mods like unified UI 😊 what other quality of life mods are you using which doesn't impact the game?
It's almost a bit sad that C:S 1 is coming to a close with no new major game additions or even significant content creation on RU-vid, like with Imperatur. But oh well, we still have this great new Imperatur city to enjoy and prospects of C:S 2!
I also wanted to start a vanilla build, but then I ended with vanilla plus again 🤣 (Meaning, quality of life mods and assests like cars that have a vanilla look) Now we are truly in a dead zone, last content for CS 1 was released, but there is not further gameplay of CS 2
Can you use the CSL map view mod to get a google maps style map of the build? Then after each episode you can show the map and fade in what was done new! Yes it’s a mod, but it doesn’t affect gameplay whatsoever
I am a very excited for CS2, but can't help but feel a little melancholy saying goodbye to CS1 after so many years of good times. Even if CS2 is 100 times better than its predecessor, CS1 will always be the game that brought life back to the city builder genre after the fall of Maxis.
Lots of love from Pakistan you are my teacher of city skyline your decorations are awesome plz make video with commentary like explain basics to advance huge love 💖😘😘😘😘💖💖💖💖
