In this episode of BurnDown we finally get started on the brake system. I would like to get this out of the way before I install the rest of the motor parts and radiator and turbos in my way. Im looking forward to firing this bad boy up but you gotta be able to stop so first tings first.

Yeah but I have to lay under it and my back yard slopes down to my side yard. I really didn't want to roll around in a puddle if I didn't have to.😅 If you saw the video where I installed the turbo in the Maliboom it was done in the rain under an EZ up so you are right it can be done.

@@Burndown lol. Yeah hopefully things get back to normal soon! I might have the Pontiac drive train sold out of my car. So LS swap parts here I come! Or do I buy suspension upgrades? 🤔 Third world problems...

You have to think that you're going from 2 master cylinders down to one. I think I would go with a 1 7/16 bore hydroboost master cylinder that's used on the medium duty trucks because that's one heavy sucker to stop. Here's one for $150 www.powerbrakeservice.net/gm1bomacyfor.html

Just buy a couple rolls of copper nickle, if your family is in there it’s not worth saving $100 and crashing the camper when a 50 year old line breaks

I have line coming so I can re do one of the front lines. Ill inspect the rear lines before I move on and all the soft lines and the slaves cylinders are getting replaced. Ill defiantly make sure the brakes work well and keep an eye on tings when im shaking this old girl down before anyone is in it and trying to actually take it somewhere.

Burndown I remade the ones in my Airstream motorhome, it wasn’t bad. Also I got the seats from a 2004 Chevy suburban do that the seat belts are integrated into the seats, those old Kai belts are sketchy as hell just bolted into some sheet metal in my camper, do I welded in 1x3 1/8” wall rectangular tubing in the floor to bolts the seats to
