Starting Sealcoating on a Budget 

Top right corner dude missed a spot. Just saying. An Squeegees suck. Either horse hair brushes or synthetic brushes are best. An I’ll just say, this job isn’t for everyone. People that overspray and don’t account for wind, people that spray grass edges or spill over brushing into edges. Y’all think this is an easy job yet don’t take accountability for detail. If you are an impatient person who just rushes everything this job isn’t for you. Plus, no one takes into thought, insurance and a contractors license. In Michigan those things you need or you can’t legally make over $500 on a job. People won’t tell you this but it’s true. Liabilities in this business are heavy an you never know who’s window you might blow out weed whipping. I’ve seen it to many times too count. An like this guy, you miss a spot and then get a call back and have to waste more time an money. Detail I said, detail. Plus, spraying driveways is never recommended. It looks like crap and hand brush is always the best for driveways.

What product are you using that allows you to use that type of sprayer?

You could do it with a paint brush if you wanted to.

First of all brushing is better than squeegieng and spraying does a crappy thin coat

Yeah but it takes wey more product and if you charge around 300 and each 5 gallons coat like 50 dollars and you need like 3 or 4 you barely make any money did my own dryway

Spray on sealer is shit, find a company that would hand brush it on. - someone in the sealing, asphalt, and cement industry

You didn't pressure wash the driveway before the seal coat... I used to do concrete overlays and seal coating. It takes more time to let it dry but you get a bit better finish and a longer lasting seal coat.
