In this episode I start the kitchen side of the building. First step is to tile the floor. It is absolutely the thing I really don't like to do, but I have to get it done so I can build my kitchen! I also get the chance to use my new Lasgoo Laser Level - and we managed to line up the tile starting line perfectly using this nifty tool.

About Girl Meets Farm:
I'm Christine, a South African expat now living in Portugal.

I'm still figuring out farm life, and while the larger renovation of the agricultural structure is now complete, I will continue renovating the interior to make it habitable and turn it into a comfortable home for me and my furkids.

That floor will be beautiful and easy to keep clean. oh and that STOVE wow it's gorgeous. A kitchen !! a real Kitchen for you hahah will be most awesome. And your beloved Grandma Christine I am so sorry, Its hard to express comforting words here but I hope you are taking time for you. big old hugs.

Sincere condolences to you with the passing of ouma Stella. The two of you had a bond which will never be broken. Gone, but never forgotten. That little electronic level looks amazing. Beautifully packaged as well. Sure you will have many years of good use from the little gadget So glad your kitchen cupboards have arrived . Going to be a major game changer in your life. That gas hob and oven is to die for. You will now have to start making time for baking and cooking.... I know how much you have been missing that! The tiling, perfect. What a back-breaking job.
