It doesn't get any more straightforward than this when it comes to learning how to play with Ableton's sounds for the first time! I wanted to make a tutorial that teaches about MIDI and the piano roll in as basic and fundamental of a style as possible. Have fun my creative friends!!!

Tab = Switch between Session View & Arrangement View
Cmd + Z = Undo
Cmd + Shift + T = New MIDI Track
Cmd + Shift + M = Create MIDI Region
Cmd + L = Loop section
Hold Option = Move notes around without deleting them
Shift + up/down = Move notes up or down an octave in piano roll
B = draw mode
Z = move laptop keyboard down an octave
X = move laptop keyboard up an octave
