State Comptroller DiNapoli Monitoring Local Governments in 2023 

One of State Comptroller DiNapoli’s most important responsibilities is monitoring the financial operations of local governments across New York.
Each year, the office audits over 250 local governments, trains over thousands of local officials, and collects financial data. In 2023, State Comptroller DiNapoli streamlined financial reporting and created an easier way for local officials to submit information online.
