OBVIOUSLY THIS IS ALL DEPENDANT ON HOW HUNTER IS TUNED
This is my take on the DESIGN of the talent trees. I believe once we know the 'optimal' talent builds in each spec the situation won't be as dramatic as the potential. Mostly Because some of the aoe talents are bad and won't be worth taking.
Which is bad tuning fixing bad design
which is kinda sad to me.
I would like to HAVE to route through both aoe and ST talents in all builds.
Let me know in the comments which other classes have this same problem.
also CHANGE HUNTER'S MARK IT IS NOT A RAID BUFF IT ABSOLUTELY SUCKS AND IT SUCKS HARDER IN M+

You dont wanna be meta. Being meta means you have more competition and the possibility of being nerfed is very high.

Hunter was literally meta or damn near meta, switching off between BM and Survival.

I mean by meta he is probably referring to M+ since raid really every class is viable, well maybe not ele shammy :( But for M+ literally every high key is the same comp Mage, Priest, Evoker for DPS. Which has pretty much been the case since 10.1 I mean I know Mage is the main character, but some other classes could use some love too.

@@Grim_Gaming yeah this is kinda it. i mean the title about it being meta was kinda just to rage bait for views and comments :) However it's mostly a general comment about Hunter will never be the 'best' damage profile for a full key or a full raid because it is pigeon holed into doing either ST or AOE and never both at once to optimal output. because things are tuned for each situation in the optimal talent build for that situation. idk sry kinda rambling now

Like my thing is Beast Master hunter needed to be dethroned. Its the most mindless spec in the game and has become always needed for AOE damage. We need to see a rework of all 3 specs to make them all feel more modern take on the classes. I hate what BM has become and how survival always get the shaft except for one season during Shadowlands. When I saw Survival will actually do decent damage, I was stoked. Overall Hunter needs some TLC on all 3 specs.
