YOU CAN NOR ANYONE ELSE CAN KNOCK HER , WE ALL HAVE THINGS THAT HAPPEN WE HAD NO WAY TO AVOID . I AM PROUD OF HER NOT BEING AFRAID OF GETTING BACK ON THE HORSE AS WE SAY HERE IN AMERICA . SO BE PROUD OF HER FEARLESSNESS , AFTER ALL SHE IS A MOTHER AND YOU KNOW MOTHERS THEY PICK THEMSELVES BACK UP AND KEEP A GOING . AND YES A '' MOTHER '' UNLIKE WESTERN WOMEN THAT I KNOW CAN DO NOTHING NEAR WHAT SHE DOES '' BLAH. BLAH. BLAH ---LOL
Lars, I live in Alaska. We prevent moisture in our crawl space by puting fiber glass or fiber rockwool insulation against the inside foundation cement wall. Just a suggestion I hope helps. Stay safe
A thick plastic sheet vapor barrier spread along the ground wouldn't be a bad idea for the crawl space either. Or, in the most optimal world, a 10cm slab strengthened with wire fencing (chicken wire, or preferably hog wire), allowing you to use the space for storage of canned goods and such. Maybe a little "tornado shelter/root cellar" wouldn't be a bad addition.
Vapor barrier, seal all vents to outside, plus a dehumidifier would help. Did for my crawlspace and it worked wonders. Also keep the floor warmer in winter
A friend of mine actually dug out a section of crawl space where he could stand up in and installed a small workshop in that area. He did pour a concrete floor an walls after setting in some thick plastic rubber material used on roofs to act as a moisture barrier against the dirt, placed 5 cm rigid foam board along the liner and then formed the walls with concrete forms plus he placed 5cm thick insulation on the form face, net result is the concrete has foam on both sides providing insulation to the walls of the dug out section.
I will keep you guys in prayer, I really appreciate what you do, we can't let distance of land or government rule from any side divide us who value faith family and freedom.
Special Love to all the Mothers today in my Country is Mother's Day (Different date around the globle). Stay safe all and thanks to all the Ladies out there! :-)
Hey Lars, most of my Russian friends who work internationally or RU-vid/ digital art etc just opened banks accounts in Kazakhstan or registered their YT/ patreon stuff to Kazakhstan to avoid sanctions and restrictions etc. Maybe that might help you ?.... Edit. I should remind you that I live in the southern Urals and recently went snowmobiling near dyatlovs pass. I also get around sanctions easily and in doing so get much better exchange rates than banks ever offered.
@@kirak1561 it was extremely difficult. We made it near the pass but not to the exact spot due to many reasons but the main reason was constant mechanical failures. 350km on snowmobiles doesn't sound like much ...but trust me it's extremely far and difficult.... Much tougher than we were expecting because for 8/10 of us it was our first time on them.
@@aidanhart9871 Good to know. I wanna do this one day too, but just saw a video of someone who went there too & there was constant snow storm & their snowmobiles broke down too. Or in fact they couldn’t even go to Dyatlov pass because of the weather. They „only“ went to Manpupuner rocks. Glad you made it back healthy. I hope you still had a great experience even so it was hard.
@@kirak1561 yes it sounds like that was my group.. it was definitely one hell of a journey hahaha 🤣 we got just minor frost bite but besides that it was an incredible experience
Plant Nursery we call them in Niagara Falls, Canada. Niagara has huge green houses for such. Big business here so forward Mrs. S.R. grow and make the world better.
My wife and I watch all your videos, you’re a good, hardworking family man with a cute wife , luck Man you are, keep up the good work, your one tough Dude ❤!! Thanks from Alberta, Canada
I enjoyed the video and the new format! I hope things improve shortly for you all and the situation. Best wishes for the new greenhouse and a prosperous Spring season!
Hey Lars! Very nice family video, enjoyed the episode a lot. Please keep sharing more insights into your routines. Mrs Survival Russia brings in the extra vibe 😂❤
Lars, Mrs. Survivor is a DOLL!! She shouldn’t be shy-many Western women would do well to take a few notes on what a great mother & wife she is. 🤔🤷♂️😅👍
Hey, a good job in the repair of the Volvo. Hey, things happen. Done repairs like this too here in the US. Whatever works to keep it on the road. Like how the new house is coming along. You have a beautiful lady with you. Yeah, RU-vid does not like guns and “violence” unless it is some war news story. You just gotta keep it family-friendly.
I would like to see Mrs SR decorating the new house inside, what she plans to do and does. She is a beautiful and fascinating woman. Why wouldn't we want to see more of her?
Great show . It's nice to hear about your life. I would be interested to hear from the Mrs. about the medicines she makes with the samagon. As for outdoor skills, some specifics about the uses of evergreens and how to identify the species. Do spruces also make fatwood?😄
Thanks for the video, they have been suppressing notifications for a lot of channels. Going to watch your school one next. I guess Mrs. Survival Russia will have to plant some fruit trees or nut trees.
Glad Mrs. SR didn't get hurt. No surprise on the printer re assembly video. Mrs. SR will get used to the camera. If she talks to it like trees and plants it'll be a piece of cake..so to speak. Thanks for the video 🍺
Lovely video with Mrs. Survival Russia. Growing trees, bushes, and flowers and even edible plants and seeds businesses in the USA are called nurseries. I always enjoy your videos.
Cooking and talking about the different foods you eat there would be interesting, I think. The shrubs and bushes would be for a "nursery" and used in landscaping, if I am following. Keep up the good work. All the best from Canada!
Hi Lars and Mrs Survival Russia, please don't stop making these vidoe's, we love your channel. Wonderful seeing Mrs Survival Russia, you make a beautiful couple. Clinton Sydney Australia
Good luck Lars and Mrs. SR Thanks for the video We can only pray that things get back to normal and we can enjoy more peace and happiness in our lives. Please continue making videos and sharing them with us, stay well!
I want to thank you for the AK video. I know it was a rather costly video for you to do in your relations with RU-vid but it was great. I never saw a video like that before. I didn't know that children did that any place in the world, (and they should!). I'll never forget it or the children. Well done....
Not only on Russia after the middle Eastern war tactic on hold and Trump made the western culture push tactics naked... Their pushing little by little of Western unethical social practice and their so call modernization culture or we can say slavery and poisoned mentality to every Asian Nations by government support in exchange for world bank loan and dollar aid package of different NGO's.. And using social and electro media to enslaved the minds and lifestyle of youth generation.. and all that gender bullshit , feminist and drugs .. and you can't even talk about it without getting censored or banned.. even if your comment mentions any words that doesn't go with their way .. I'm sure posting this comment will also get warning and remove claiming hate speech... 🌈 💩
Glad you're all doing well. Spring will be there soon. I've often found the food plants that don't need your help, are the best ones to grow sometimes. And if you don't spray weed killers or other chemicals, many weeds are edible and nutritious to. Would be interesting to see what Russians ate in the many hard times they experienced.
Hello my friend glade to see you and Mrs Russia are we and safe I will keep you all in my prayer would love to see your wife in more videos I will keep watching und sharing your wonderful videos
Really enjoyed the video! Mrs SR is always a welcome sight. Also enjoyed the school video with the kids doing the preparedness activities. Thanks for posting these videos.
Great stuff Lars and Mrs Survival Russia ! Yes more content with the wife is interesting because of the new interaction and Mrs Russia's perspectives. We've seen and heard you talk just to us in the camera Lars for 10 years so Mrs. SR is like 'new green shoots' growing in the Survival Russia 'garden'. Plus like all of our wives her presence is better to look at with you than alone ! No offense, you married her for a reason - and now we know it wasn't for her food gardening haha ! Looking forward to seeing more...
CRAWLSPACE MOISTURE I have experience with construction, here in Saskatchewan, where it gets quite cold too. What we normally do is place 10mm plastic on the inside of the outer walls, as well as covering the ground. Then insulate the crawlspace walls before sheeting the outer walls. Heat transfer from the main floor should keep moisture build-up to a minimum...especially if your heating the crawlspace a bit.
Greetings from the mountains of Idaho here in the US ! I enjoy the videos of your lifestyle there. Perhaps you could put a dashboard camera in the Volvo when Mrs survival Russia is piloting it. Might be exciting 😂, I’m sure that little bumper ding will buff out 🤣 !
I had a similar incident involving hard packed snow and a plastic front bumper but the air bag sensor triggered the air bag and it cost about $2000 USD to fix. Insurance covered 90% of the cost though. Another reason to carry a knife is to cut the old air bag away so it is possible to drive home.
When I was in high school 44 years ago, I took ROTC ( military science ), starting in 9th grade, if taken in college you enter the military as an officer. We took apart a M16 and a M60 light machine gun. We did repelling, went to Fort Ord for a week of Army Basic Training, etc. The word for raising trees and plants ( both edible and decorative plants to sell is called a nursery.
Why doesn't Russia have its own RU-vid .... ? Mr. and Mrs. Survival Russia you two are the best. Greetings and blessings from NY USA... ' Go out and do something awesome' is great advice (your catch phrase sticks in my brain).
