I have learnt something critical today from Sifuna. When debating your opponent....keenly listen to your opponent. Don't interrupt. Let him get comfortable in his own bulshit. Then using what you have learnt demolish the fella tactfully.
But sifuna acts totally opposite to this I think it's coz the guy he's arguing with is a homeguy..sifuna doesn't listen and is very subjective actually if he's the leader Kenyans are waiting for then problems will prolong but as usual Kenyans support the guy who talks most rudest most dramatic most..
It's a joy to listen to Sifuna debate anything. This man is simply fantastic. Nairobi residents are proud to have him as their representative. Sifuna must be one of the finest lawyers on his feet.
Khalwale contradicting himself at the expense of self justification ...poor scheme, wrong strategy ,lame mind ,failing project ,,, securing impunity ..so sad
Sycophancy is really a very bad infection of brain reasoning: Khalwale has become a thoroughly fed sycophant, this is not the man I used to watch on tv articulate serious issues intelligently. Poor soul, he has been fed with fat bank deposits, now he’s just a zombie singing the tune of his master - the bull fighter is now a flower girl, so sad !
Sifuna you are an honest leader keep on telling them the truth I love your debates "These people have a mental block" KK team is not convincing us on anything nowadays
Totally agree with senator Sifuna. The government's priorities is upside down. The problem in Kenya is that there's no perpetual succession of policies from one regime to the next. How sure are we the next regime will continue with this housing plan?
For those who worked under government Kibaki we can relate with what the Bull fighter is saying. The fiber optic caple is as a result of the a government decision.
Kenyans don't need the government to build houses for them, all they need is a conducive environment to do business, get good jobs to enable them buy, build and live in decent houses.
Boss any developed country government build houses and that's the place where we set people free from groups that harass them But sifuna is financed by the property owner to fight good thing for the benefit of others
It is not giving Kenyans houses but Ruto wanting to sell building materials. When he was singing about electricity to every home, kumbe cement poles were being sold by him through his son Nick.
I think Ruto think that Kenyans are idiots who do not know how to save. If only Kenyans could be paid well for the work they do, we are so informed about the savings but you try to budget for every coin but it's too hard. Ruto should focus on attracting investors rather than forcing Kenyans to make a contribution towards creating jobs for the non employed.
It is a huge relief to have senator Sifuna as a resource person, in serious discussions. He is issue focused and sober minded. The same cannot be said of the man sitting next to Sifuna, who is obsessed with being petty and argumentative.
I love Sifuna’s brain.. very logical thinker and articulator.. keep fighting for Kenyans my fren.. khalwale is so full of shit this morning. Why should you force anyone to buy a house. Some people have built their homes upcountry and don’t care to buy a house in the city . This should be voluntary. You can’t force Kenyans to buy and we know this will be a huge scandal. Talking about 25 years from now.. many will be eased by then.
Kalwale must be ashamed of all the lies coming from his mouth. He was a voice for people with low incomes. Now he is the voice for looters and thieves. Shame on him.
There is a very sickening tangent this government seems to be taking, trying to pitch the employed against the unemployed, its utterly disgusting and stinks to the high heavens.
Very true...He is a good exaple of educated, but no integritu..how can you follow every none sence that the president tells you simply because you support him??..why dont you agree ?you are not him and he is not you!!! Bon is simply supmerging his identity into Ruto's
This housing plan is going to reduce on the number of the little jobs available rather than increaseing. The employer will be forced to cut down on the number of employees now that he is being forced to pay a 3% levy for each single employee
The KK government should first of all invest in Education so as to improve our economic growth. This entire sharade about housing levy should be put on hold so as to solve the economic crisis. Thank you Sen. Sifuna for representing the voice of Kenyans.
We are happy with some leaders like hon. Sifuna for standing with his people, its good to hear your people's voice rather than your party. Party didn't elect one but the people did.
It requires a structured approach, since people knows how getting your money from these government institutions is a daunting task that many people would try to avoid,I saw it when a person I know walked to these offices to get retirement benefits,,,
As an individual thinker,,, how did ruto managed to run a campaign for a period of five years giving millions of money to churchs, organizations, etc yet uhuru family and raila family well known the richest family have never managed to do so, how did ruto manged to buy popular policians?? Is ruto after Kenyans money to refund back money to the funders pretending the money is for housing will it finally going to be a scandal and why is it that, it is a must not voluntarily are we being blinded???
BON is confused and is full of Master's praises. Kibaki was a hard working president but Ruto is incompetency and corrupt. Ruto during Kibaki regime was sacked due to Maize Scandals. BON should know most Kenyans are in Diaspora and are well-educated giving awareness to their relatives in Kenya.
Sometimes I wonder who's older between Khalwale and Sifuna. Khalwale wants unemployed people to buy houses. Why must everyone own a house? What happens when you get a transfer? Will we need to own a house in every city or town to which we move?
Sad that Khawale is talking of companies of ‘who is who’ being excepted from taxes and still calling the employed who are the support system of this nation‘Selfish’
After struggling to educate the children, wakipata kazi tena government starts fighting them saying ni wachoyo. Na pengine kazi yenyewe mzazi tena alinunua ontop of it.
The greatest thing anyone can pick from this panel, is in the relation and mannerisms between Boni and Sifuna. Despite being on opposite factions, where Sifuna by political rank is higher than Khalwale, since they both come from the same culture and ethnicity that demands young to respect the elderly, Sifuna had to loose his abrasive tendencies when facing an elder. What reigns supreme here is the workability of their culture. Kudos to you Boni and Sifuna. Keep that. This was epic.
This is khalwale a man of jokes ,I remember him buying a roasted maize from a hustling woman and paid her 20 bob and called it empowerment 😂😂 while he was going to church! don't follow khalwale's route my dear Kenyans you will get lost!
Kenya needs a magafuli or a kibaki to handle his country. The first step is to close all loopholes of corruption, have an economic recovery blueprint, audit all stolen loans we are paying, put men into jail, pass laws that jail corrupt individuals without bail and recover all their assets. Anyway, this is not going to happen. more misery awaits. its their time to eat for 10 years then tupatane 2033 tuanze kulipia wizi
If the likes of Khalwale are the minds we are depending on then i am sorry we are lost as a country.... Expect more people to move to those slums because they cant afford paying those houses they are staying in.... Khalwale remember even now there are descent houses in towns which are empty it's not that we lack houses... Khalwale your pay determine where to stay....
In this discussion hands down to Senator Sifuna, your points were well articulated and had alot of weight. They really made alot of sense especially on the house levy where I already have my mansion,my two bedroom wherever,so why should I pay?!?! Our economy is at the edge for sure😢
If they don't have a hidden agenda on the house levies then why are they impossing this to Kenyans without even consulting the citizens who give them power
Senator difuna hoyee🎉🎉🎉👌👌👌 a so humble to realize that i did not loose my one vote that i voted hon. senator in, excellent job keep it on,👏👏👏u are always head on you dont waist time,am very sure, with you in,this thing is definitely going no where,💪💪💪💪 fighting tor 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪❤❤❤❤❤.
The tax base should be expanded to relieve formal employees workload. Digital content need to be taxed, people in Gikomba and other jua kali segments need to pay their tax. No free riders!
Swali langu ni hizo nyumba zinajegwa kwa plot ya serikali . Sasa utauziwa aje nyumba yenye iko kwa plot ya serikali . Utapata title deed kutoka wapi .Mimi naona hiyo yote ni uongo mtupu .
Major cause of low house availability in Nairobi is the fact that so many people move to the city with the hope of securing ONE of the job that may pop here and there within the city perimeter! In the cause, one family turns to a family of multiple! And above that, idle bodies are everywhere! Putting tremendous pressure on the city! A solution to this major problem is idle bodies should be encouraged to move back to the rural where they can be productive by tilling the land and producing! The many educational skills held by these idle bodies can be applied to efficiently FARM! Now, housing crisis would be somehow be solved, plenty of food be made available, expansion of the economy, creation of employment as a result of the expanded economy, and ABOVE ALL, PESA KWA MFUKO to many! But this takes place when there is LEADERSHIP! OTHERWISE, ...........
I wished my senator could represent us like ,honaurable Sifuna Edwin, but am happy am in Nairobi,,,Nairobi well represented good choice,we are proud of you honaurable Edu
Whenever khalwale mentions noise from Azimio, it reminds me of Man U calling Man City their 'noisy neighbours'. Guess who wins the EPL league, FA cup, etc...the noisy neighbours!
Bony be realistic, so how long will it take for all of us to get the houses. Pooling of resources only works in cases like insurance where not all will claim. Otherwise in this case if I contribute then automatically I need a house.
When did senator khalwale became blind to alleviating the cost of living for the real hustlers? Very very sad! If they're resisting a forced deduction of kes 900 a month, where will they afford kes 19000 per month to service a 3million mortgage?
In addition, which mortgage will be very important for us citizens, mortgage for a shared apartment in the city/town or a home? To me I prefer being a home owner.
How marvelous it would be if young people refused to be led by politicians into a path of division, power-seeking & arrogance; but instead saw the beauty of harmony, humility & oneness?
