Our panelists discuss the efforts of the federal government in fighting terrorism. The U.S department of homeland security helps a local and governmental organization to defend against ransomware attacks by providing cyber training, cyber assessment, tools to identify security gaps, and equipment and software to protect radio systems used by law enforcement.
Among other interesting subjects, we discussed how to efficiently communicate cyber security needs to business owners, C-suite executives, or board members. Non-IT leaders in IT industries are unfamiliar with technical words; therefore, professionals need to reduce their fear level when talking to them about critical cybersecurity needs.
