I never saw a english procession so badly filmed and realised : poorly chosen camera locations, cameramen unable to find the best angle or subject to follow, and a director not knowing how to correct these errors, etc. Anyhow, God Save the King !

There were some major disappointments. We did not see the King and Queen processing through the Royal Gallery, did not see Black Rod summon the Commons, just half an hour of the Lords gossiping with one another.

Charles had a temper tantrum with those Paige Boys because the robe wasn't right just the same sort of temper tantrum he had with his Equery with that ink well. Did anyone else notice that in this footage ?

She is 77 years old today (happy birthday to Her), he is 75; he has just been diagnosed with cancer (and the care is, it seems, already heavy); and this couple of old star-crossed lovers find themselves at the top of that "ancient world" that didn't want them... A little indulgence perhaps ? God Save the King and Queen !
