For the people who don’t understand why he’s crying it’s because he knows that little girl could’ve lost her life because of her aunts recklessness. He was probably reminded of children in his family when he saw her
If a deal isn't offered, this would probably STILL be wrapped up in the courts today....aunt would probably go free just so they could clear the books. Plea this kind of stuff out and let the courts be used on violent thugs that actually abuse children.

State Troopers across the nation are saving lives out there, people. Don't drive under the influence of intoxicants. My wife's mother was killed by a drunk driver.
My grandpa also and a group of teenagers I knew back in the 80s hit and severely injured by a drunk driver that ran a stop sign into a road that was 55 Miles an hour speed limit. Also a young girl my daughter graduated with was going around some bad curves drunk and killed herself. It's such a shame the bars over serve they don't pay attention.Same at concerts who knows how much booze somebody consumes and then gets into their vehicle to drive home afterwards I never drive drunk never even back in the years when I did drink I would always make sure I either slept in my car without the engine running but I would never drive drunk because of what happened to my grandpa years ago.
Agree with the over serving. I remember when there were only a couple places to get drunk, at a bar or at home or a friend's house. Point being is I did the concert circuit and they didn't really sell booze at the big places, maybe a beer. Now movie theaters, grocery stores, coffee houses, concert venues, etc....all sell beer/wine if not hard liquor. I feel for people in recovery because there are rarely any non drinking establishments left around anymore.
Unfortunately there are police servants who cover up for buddy drunkards' like one in Cedar Rapids, Iowa one killed the whole family of five. It was the parents traveling on vacation with their 1, 3, and 5 year olds. Even with the Breathalyzer test marking over the legal intoxication limit he was not even arrested. It was revealed from inside the department that the cop and the criminal knew each other. And they blamed the weather.
Michael Neal That isn’t an issue of semantics since it implies a completely different relationship, but I agree about the endangerment. There’s more to this story. Granting a plea and dropping the child endangerment charges should be unusual without serious mitigating circumstances or big time connections.
He's crying because he's picked up too many dismembered kids on the street. He's wondering what could have happened to that kid if he missed that car and it got on the highway.
I'm old enough to remember when many cars didn't come with seat belts at all and those that did were merely lap belts you had to manually adjust and were basically useless. Small kids used to ride on their parents lap, sometimes even the driver's lap.
For real!! He’s done amazing work and it is heartbreaking to witness that level of carelessness. 👍🏽👍🏽✊🏽🙌🏽 Major kudos to the guy. The kid wasn’t even buckled in. Goodness!!!

This officer saved many lives today, especially that 6yr old riding in the front seat unbuckled. Her aunt driving 96 miles an hour. Yes,he saved lives. This officer definitely doing his job and doing it right.
she was on a crowded freeway, and would have gotten off and driven to a residential area, endangering ALL around her. Her decision to drive 96 miles an hour showed her lack of judgement. oooh, I bet that child's parents were seriously mad !!
When I was young my father never left without giving me and my sister a kiss and hug along with good advice. After growing up my mother explained that my father had witnessed some of the worst car accidents involving dead children. The #1 cause was always drunk drivers. I can't imagine how he handled such things for 28 years. Hes retired and now coaches basketball for NJC public schools.
My entire life was changed forever by a drunk driver, and I'm so grateful for officers like this stopping others from going through what I went through.
One of the things I made sure to tell my wife when teaching her to drive is that you can do everything perfect and still get killed by someone else. Always be aware of those driving around you. Stay Safe everyone.
A good friend from last year did just that last month. Driving just past midnight and was struck head on by a guy going North in a southbound lane. 20 years of age :`(. Still hasn't registered
Anyone who's ever seen a child dying and crying for their mom while trapped in a wreck knows precisely why he was crying. I've seen it. I could not do his job.
Thank god someone with his selfless dedication is on the line watching everybody’s 6, unlike the selfish aunt who was only thinking about herself. @whatever you do Do not Look Behind You it wasn't just the strollers. 1. When he pulled her over and she said she was at a concert (whether that is true or not, clearly the little girl was with her when she was getting drunk). 2. The fact she was drunk driving on the highway with the child in it. 3. The child was in the front seat unbuckled. 4. He realized how intoxicated she is. 5. He noticed she was concerned about the child being scared but not about the little girls safety but instead she put the child in grave danger. 6. Because of him being in the right place at the right time he was able to remove the kid from that danger and into safety. 7. When those things are all put together and then he opened the trunk to find several stollers he realizes there are probably more children that are in harms way if she doesn't get her priorities in order, putting the children shes in care of ahead of her own selfish desires like going to concerts and getting drunk. Here is a secret people. Men have a soft spot for kids, especially when they are fathers themselves. Real men care for any kids and will look out for them.
Gender does not define if you have a "spot for kids". If a person has such spot, good for them, the ones who don't, as long as they don't harm them, then good for them too.

Question? Why would God let someone get drunk and drive with a child in the front seat who's not wearing a seatbelt?...Maybe the Officer should administer some field sobriety tests to God to see if he/she is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol 🤔 Do you think God will still bless him if he ends up being arrested for an REI (Running Existence while under the Influence)? And if God has the power to bless someone...then why wouldn't he just keep the woman from driving drunk, thus negating the need to bless the officer...yeah, I know, logic sucks.
God is not a magic wand first of all. Sorry that you may have been taught that. Possibly you even prayed for a situation and it didn't work out and a church goer, I refrain from saying Christian, told you that you did not pray correctly. Whatever the cause, this driver is stuck in sin nature and I have a feeling she is used to due and that she finally got caught. When ppl are stuck in sin, they were warned and given an out, they chose not to take it. After a while the sinner begins to ignore those warnings and outs, they are in a since either trying to defy the odds or are stuck in a downward spiral where they are so selfish they don't see how their actions and behaviors affect those around them. Regardless God did intervene, maybe the cop felt led to drive that stretch of the road and if so he listened and save at least 2 lives that night. How many times have you felt that you should or shouldn't do something, but being human, you did the opposite and it did not work in your favor?!? That is free choice in action. God isn't messing up this world, it's selfish people who have no regards for others who are messing up this world.
