States with the Worst Reputation for Friendliness - Avoid These States 

I think we have to look at our own selves. I actually like people. I believe what we send out, we get back.

It's hard living in much of CA, for the reasons described. Got a ton of crazy people here, but many nice people. Have never heard anything good about NJ. Upstate NY is good, have spent time there. AL and AR are also nice, spent time in both places. Two other unfriendly states - MD and MA, from personal experience.

Pretty much any state with high density cities are likely classed as unfriendly!
