You have a founding member, two guys that have been in the band since the 80, one in for 11 years, and another 8 years. He can't raise the dead, and he's not ready to quit, so be thankful that Quo is still around at all. It's not the same, but it's better than no Quo!

@@robertmiller3750 I saw an AC/DC vid last night actually, they're old, but I didn't think it was a shambles. I might give a whole concert a miss though. Mind you, I passed up free AC/DC tickets in the 90s, I'd seen them too many times and it was always the same show, pretty much the "If you want blood" concert over and over again!

His vocals have definitely improved. But no doubt, Parfitt was a really good singer. Anyway, if you were offered the chance to take the place of a departed musician in a venue-filling band or carry on with the 9 to 5, what would you do?

The vast majority going to these gigs wouldn't have a clue if you quizzed them at which songs come from which 70s albums, i say 70s because theres only 4 songs in the setlist after 86, says a lot doesn't it.
