Can you help, I test drove a Hatchback GTE, and it has the button for Lane Assist, but when I press it. The only option that comes up is Front Assist. I assumed that every car that has that button comes with Lane Assist. Is the hardware there and maybe locked by VW or does it need the front camera etc?
thanks for sharing this type of video. How would it behave if line marks on the road would be temporary (yellow due to constructions on the road). Is it safe to use this assistant? Thanks, Roman
Hi Roman. Thanks for your comment. I don't think it matters what color the lines are, I believe it only follows contrast. I also think the assistant is safe to use as long as you keep your hands on the wheel. What do you think?
