Mr. Brinker. I can't thank you enough for your 40 episode You Tube Bluenose wooden model building instructions. I am about to complete the rigging and cut and install the sails. I've worked on the ship each winter over a three year period. It's been a great distraction during the COVID pandemic. I couldn't have done it without you. While my skills aren't up to your standards I am thrilled with the results. You are very good at your craft and teaching your craft. Keep it up. Thanks again.
@@garybrinker178 glad to hear from you Love and hugs to your wife I have been Re watching the rigging off the ship help Thank you for the clips they are such a great help
Hello Mr Brinker . When necessary other priorities are to be dealt asap. Hope everything will back to a normal life in your household in a nearest future. Cheers 😊
I am so glad you are doing well and both of you are safe. I am still building my Bluenose. I've thanked you before but you inspired me to build the model and I am not sure I could have done it without your truly excellent advice. Stay safe!
Hi Gary, Merry Christmas to you and your good wife. Hoping you are both well and staying safe. Look forward to seeing you on here again in the future.Have a great new year ok. Kind Regards Richard (UK).
Greetings from the corona bunker in New York's Hudson Valley. I couldn't believe my eyes when you showed up in my RU-vid feed, thought I was hallucinating, but no, it turned out to be true! Now if we can just hear from Solomon at Life After Work things will be OK again. I am coming up on starting year 2 of my Bluenose build, took time off to build Revell's Harbor Tug. I'm at the rigging stage which is my least favorite part. But your videos on that ship have been a huge help and inspiration! Stay safe, stay healthy, take care of that back, and hope to see you on here sooner! God Bless.
Hey Gary! Great to see you’re doing well! I’ve been wondering how you’ve been. I’m building a model of a sailing ship so I’ve been watching your videos as I work, even though I’ve already watched them all. Would love to see you build more models when you’re up to it. We miss them and your sense of humor. Stay well!
It is a pleasure to see you and your wife, as well as Molly, again. Glad to hear you are all doing good. We missed you. Stay safe during this pandemic and we hope to see you soon in the near future.
Really nice to hear from you and yor wife that you are all well even though the situation brings nasty limitations to life. There is obviously a similar life here in Finland as you have, limitations and more limitations so that our loved ones do not get sick. Stay healthy, I hope you manage to get the Titanic ship, I watch every video of its construction
Ahoy Gary Man Its Great to see and Hear from you Buddy, Soon you will Be Back On the Bench You and your wife Please stay safe buddy I been Locked down Below In My boatswain locker Ordering food Trying to survive This nightmare. You And Molly please Stay safe God bless you Buddy Frankie Day
Hail sir. It is great to see a post from you. I was afraid you had assumed room temperature and that your wife had left your channel up so everyone could appreciate your great work. The Midwest Model Shop is going to be starting the Trumpeter Titanic soon. He is just finishing up his beautiful Missouri. All the best to you and your family.
It's great to see you again my friend. I know a lot of modelers are as happy as I am to see you. I haven't seen that model of the Titanic. Who makes it? I'm afraid my modeling days are over, even though I keep saying they're not. I'm doing a lot of physical therapy, and have had several back procedures done to keep me walking. My problems are not operable, nor can any be cured. It's just a matter of keepin' on keepin' on. The wife and I are hunkered down in the Goat Locker, and have plenty of Costco goods stocked up. Personally I think that if someone needs 200 rolls of toilet paper to get through the next month or so they have a bigger problem than the Corona Virus. LOL! You and your lovely wife continue to take precautions and hopefully we'll all make it to the other side of this thing. Regards, Solomon
Nearly a year. Hope all is still well with you and your family. Got another couple of months of lockdown to go here in the UK but things are looking better all round.
It's good to see you on the tube again. Good to find you in humor. I think the end of this will be a lot sooner than later. So you can see the little ones. We already have a cure that takes less than a week to completely recuperate from it. Other than rebuilding one's stamina. I hope you get your wish and have a crack at the Titanic. Good wishes and God Bless.
Sorry...if I had realized these comments were not in time sequence and read a bit further I wouldn't have asked the redundant question. I'm kind of new to modeling so you don't know me. I've been through knee replacement and back surgery in the last year and I believe I'm aware of what your going through. Those 27 years I was in the military tore me up some. Best wishes to you and your family till you feel like modeling again. As for me, I'll be bluenosing it.
Welcome back and thanks for the update. Not been running out to the gun shop to queue up for ammo then? We Brits find that hilarious. (We'd have to buy arrows because I think there is still a valid law dating back about eight hundred years whereby all us freeborn Englishmen are supposed to spend two hours on a Sunday practising with our longbows in case of an invading foe!) The fly swatter is probably a better option anyway! I finally got around to starting ballasting my railway layout, even put up a very brief (bad) video. That Titanic kit looks fantastic, us viewers should maybe organise a whip-round for you or something if this goes on for too long. Maybe you could even do a swap....some of your loo rolled for the kit..lol. Stay safe and keep on trucking....
Gary, get on Patreon and we'll all pitch in and buy ya the new Trumpeter Titanic model. I don't have the skill or patience to build it, but would love to watch you build it.
Hi Gary glad to hear from you and your wife and of course Molly. Need some help on episode 19 of Bluenose and you are a professional auto body Guy . How did you get such a beautiful finish on your paint job? Do you use an air gun or do you use paint brushes? I will wait for your reply. Cheers from Canada John T
Hi, Hope things are improving. Life in the UK is slowly getting back to normal. Folks responded well. Cancelled two mini holidays but heading out for a four-day break on Monday. Still working my way through your videos - re-watching kept me occupied during the last few months..lol. Any chance of another stamp video on some of your other stuff? I know its not everybody's cup of tea (Coffee) but I thought it was fascinating. I gather the Queen has a collection valued at over £100 Million!!!! ....don't think she does much mounting in books herself though! Stay safe.
Hi Gary, how are you and you good wife keeping, well i hope and this virus is not as bad now where you are. Will you be back on youtube again in the near future. I can't wait to actually see you back again. Please the both of you take care ok .
WOW wonderful to see you! The fact that youre doing fine is just awsum :) Get on Patreon and we will help you get the Titanic. Kind regards from Sweden.
good to see you Gary .i missed your videos and comments . Ron caverlery (sp) has been building the Bismark for the last year. Check it out . i know you like watching model videos. he is considering building the Dora. Anyway i am glad to see you.
Glad to hear all is well with you and your family. I'm enjoying your videos cause its helping me eat up ALOT of Spare time I have available since the start of the Wuhan Virus.By the way, your videos have opened my eyes not to just building techniques but where the model kit has many of its own problems that we the builders where unaware of and have to solve on our own which is where you have come in very handy. Thanks and stay well. Leif
Well as I live and breathe!! So good to see you, your wife and Molly! I actually thought you just threw in the towel on RU-vid. Ben @ Midwest Models bought that 1/200 Titanic kit. His wife is fascinated with the Titanic, so the 2 of them are going to team up on the build. I guess she is doing all the research! Don't want to type a long comment so I will email you tomorrow. Glad you are safe. Candi and I are as well. Take care my friend!!
@@garybrinker178 I hope you and your family are doing well. I've been re-watching your Bluenose videos. I purchased the same kit and am getting ready to start the build! It would be great to see you building models again as your ability to make complicated things seem so simple.
ive been watching you chanel for a years I am very impressed at the detail you put into your models im glad to see your doing well hope to see you do some more soon
@@garybrinker178 Glad to see you are OK!! Miss your videos like crazy! I'm STILL working on my Bluenose. I did a great job till I hit the rigging. I suck at ratlines!

HEY!! You have been away for a long time. I'm not going to ask how you doing. We are in the same situation. Let's all hope this does not last too long. Well stay safe and indoors, wear your mask, wash your hands. . Let's get back to what we do best (modeling). If you find the time (lol), check out my ship model web-site. Stay well and safe.
