Out of the wood smoke ones I’ve tried, Diptyque Feu de Bois, Trudon Gabriel, Boy Smells Cedar Stack, and By the Fireplace, Gabriel is my hands down favorite! It has a little bit of that chestnutty warmth that FDB doesn’t have, but isn’t as sweet as BTF. It smells like the actual crackling burning wood to me rather than being smoky. Diptyque FDB just smells like smoke to me. I’ve been wanting to try Portable Fireplace too!

You always have great lineups! So good! If you love the smokiness from FDB, definitely give Portable Fireplace a try. Im still searching for the Latkes scent to put my nose to, but no one seems to be carrying it right now.

Great reviews! My smoky wood candle is hands down Diptyque's Few de Bois. I have burned it for many years, winter just wouldn't be the same without it. Happy Christmas xx
