Hey Rekeema! Missed you bro and I am very excited for these new candles. Can I however give a tip that may to help me and hopefully other less savvy viewers. Since you also know fragrances, can you give us the closest perfumes that the candles remind you of so that I can get a better hint to the smell than just trying to figure notes. I probably can relate to similar fragrances better than note combinations. Love the content and your vibe. It’s always a welcomed gift for a new post. Peace & Blessings!

I have the Diptyque Café candle and it's brilliant, esp when you burn it. I need to buy a few extras as back ups. Biscuit is the one that was a Christmas candle a few years ago. I'm glad they have it in this collection. I wish it was permanent and not limited. As you know Diptyque and Trudon is my fave brands. I wish Diptyque would skip the paraffin and use soy or another natural wax and their standard candles was a bit bigger and had two wigs but I guess they would make their candles even more expensive and lets not tiptoe around the tulips, Diptyque is expensive.

I completely share your thoughts on the Macy’s candles, which is why I believe they were sold that cheap🤣🙈the insanity of just smelling through the box was a bit worrying and then I opened the box and 💀💀 I will light it up and see how I feel about it but I may be on standby to open windows and doors. It’s like walking into macys and passing by the perfume department🙈

I picked up Harlem's Luminary candle on sale and two more during the final clearance. I enjoyed this scent; the notes are the same as Savoy, which I'd wanted to experience. I was surprised that I could smell the scent through the box. The first burn produced a throw across my whole house: I'd lit the candle in my bedroom. The smell made a left at Albuquerque (Bugs Bunny reference) and went a distance to get to my kitchen. The more you burn this candle the less throw so maybe you will have a different impression after two burns. I picked up 34th Street just because it was on clearance for $13. 34th Street references Macy's on 34th Street (see the movie Miracle on 34th Street). The smell is just as questionable as the notes listed - meh. I experienced no cold throw and hot throw is not memberable.

I bought the Fresnal candle holder, Biscuit & Cafe when I was in NYC last weekend. Something about going into a Diptyque store k lose all control. 😮😂

I also purchased the Harlem Candle Macy's candle when you posted. I could smell the cold throw through the box. They burn beautifully, but I'm not a fan of the scents. It does make me want to try the popular scents.

I got my Luminary, and I think there is some palo santo in it, not sandalwood. I don’t like it at all, and it will end up at the resale store. I also loved The Wiz movie. I watched it many times as a kid. I wanted to order the wiz candle, but my wife hates pal santo and I don’t love it enough to buy any with it. But I will definitely try a travel of Nina. I love Jasmine.

Diptyque’s Cafe is excellent, the hot throw is INCREDIBLE! I already have 3 backups as it’s about to go out of sale (available only until the end of May believe)

I look forward to trying the Nina Simone scent. I’m very fond of Billie, so hopefully I will love the new additions of HCC. Also, I just received my first and hopefully not my last purchase of 228 Grant Street and Lugana Hills is on my wish list.

Great video as always! I was at the Diptyque Covent Garden boutique in London 3 or 4 weeks ago and picked up the Cafe candle. It smells amazing! The scent is gentle and not overpowering, just the perfect balance in my opinion. It actually does reminds of the Cafe Verlet in Paris and conjures images of sitting, enjoying a great cup of coffee accompanied by a delicious pastry! I will have to buy another as it is a limited edition and unlike the city candles, I’m not sure that it will be available again next year.

I am so glad you talked briefly about the Diptyque Cafe scents. I was especially curious about the Biscuit scent as I am trying to expand into gourmand scents. I feel like it's very easy to get into Fruity and Floral scents, but Herbal and Gourmand takes a small bit of learning (especially Herbal). My nose is weird haha

I purchased the wild herb tonic large size. Great scent but..... couldn't smell anything until it was more than 1/2 burned. Why does this happen?

I've never liked PF, style over substance. I've tried a few and always been disappointed. Diptyque and Cire Trudon are untouchable!
