Recently visited this fine steakhouse because of this very video! A bit pricey but well worth every penny. The service and food were phenomenal. Love the coziness of the restaurant giving it that nice romantic setting. Definitely on my list of top restaurants in the city. Thanks Aden
@@QuanTranVisuals each his own but I cannot agree. Also don't understand this cutting up the meat, I assume Aden isn't 4 years old and can cut his own.
Lmao at first when I seen them put it on the plate I was like "I like some rare steaks but bro...that shits still moving its so raw" 🤣 then they put it back in lol amazing content bro! Every time!
they only put it back in to hav the sizzling plate.. ruth chris be doing this.. Also from what ive seen in his vids he pretty like his steak med rare to med,,,
@@caughtoncamera27 thats true, to be fair though there was one of his videos awhile back he made a tomahawk steak and it was like slightly seared 🤣 so I wasn't suprised at first lol
I can remember a few times I've had some rather spectacular beef and one time a friend of mine's dad raised cattle and I'd help them a couple of times when some cattle got loose and he opened the freezer one day and threw me a package of t-bones and I busted them out one day at a cookout and I had to say that that meat was very good it was better than anything you could buy at the store the flavor was just richer it tasted so good though everybody was just snatching those things up... I got to say I took one for myself and went off in the corner and ate it and I don't feel bad about it one bit
You probably got prime cuts straight from the source. Best you can get in grocery stores is Choice because all the restaurants have dibs on the primes.
The beef was AMAZING! That marbling was perfect. Hot fat splash was rookie. Cream spinach on point. Potatoes (?) look kinda soupy. Also, I pray those were half portions. Knife looked like a butter knife but was NOT.
Wow, that looks so good. Pro Tip: dip that piece of steak into those divine looking mashed taters before putting it in your mouth. I started doing this way back when I was a late teen. It will get you some odd looks, but with taters that look that good and a world class steak like that, trust me, you'll love it. Cheers...very well done vid
NYC is just 62 miles south from my hometown of Newburgh, NY. I consider NYC my 2nd home. I love traveling there just for the food, great friends and as my name states, I also go there to watch my NY Rangers 🏒🗽🚨
I think the best cuts of beef are so good that Indians thousands of years ago became suspicious enough to believe that cows were sacred. It's literally the best tasting meat on earth.
@@lucianoromero777 that's just human nature! we live in a fallen world man, I would just like to honor the Great Britain who spread the gospel around the world and were blessed by God because of it, and had an "empire that the Sun never set on" until they turned their backs on God's chosen people (the Jews) after world war II and then their empire crumbled. The Bible clearly states those who bless my people will be blessed, those who curse my people will be cursed.
Is that a typical side dish combination in america? The potatoes and greens looked ruined? Steak looked ok but at $141 that seems a little excessive. Interesting to compare the accompaniments in the different locations you visit. Would love to see you try a good steak in the uk.
It’s a dry aged steak. The restaurant lost 30% ish of the weight of the beef before trimming. And the creamed spinach and potato purée is classic. That steak for $140 is a bargain in NYC.
This. Is so aesthetic to my brain. I just forgot all my problems, Whoas, ailments, bills, ect. Bout to sleep like a baby.🤗😅😅🤭😴😴😴😴😴😴 Dream- in 🧂🍺🔪🍴🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩 The fat & the bit on the tip is to die for.....oh well.... please give me those fat bits ok???ahhh👌. All was right in the Concrete Jungle.
I see a 2x4 guide to ensure uniform thickness. Trimming the excess fat. Full salt infusion. 2nd excess fat trimming. Very rare steak which how I like it. I would like to try Tuscany Steakhouse.
I haven't had a chance to eat a steak like that, but I think so much fat would make you feel full very quickly and not finish your meal. The steak itself already has enough intramuscular fat.
I know, I was impressed with $143 tab, for a chance to eat something unique (properly aged Prime) for me in my flyover state. There are places in my capital city that would charge at least that much for a grocery store steak that they let turn brown.
_Porterhouse ::_ This is what happens when steaks are cut too, too thick ! They are extremely difficult to cook inside out. There will always be redness inside. _Rib-Eye ::_ Thinly-cut, FLAT against a hot pan ! Cook it the way you like it ! It won't take long.
