I really like the fact that you chose pieces from your already existing wardrobe to recreate those looks. You put your own twist on each outfit. That is what is inspiring. All three looks are great.
Yes !!! You did it Signe, Caroline de Maigret !!!! And you totally rocked it ! In France, the weather is starting to get a little warmer so I just started to use my spring seasonal items. I find these videos really inspiring as I am rediscovering my clothes from last year for the first time since I started my capsule wardrobe ! It's my one year anniversary. I put a lot of time and effort into changing my buying habits but I never felt so in peace with myself and I never had so much fun with my clothes ! Thank you.
I love. These Steal Her Style segments! I love Caroline de Margeit& I love the hat while she is older 43, she’s very popular & I love her style! And I love your style 😍
Looove it, Signe! You’re often my weekly dose of inspiration. I often steal your style when dressing to work, as I work in a very relaxed environment and let me tell you that I always get compliments on my style preferences ;-)
I'm longing for a retro look from the 50's or the 60's, i.e.: Audrey Hepburn or Jane Birkin. It would be challenging and I think you are up to the task.
I love your videos so much. I get so much inspiration from you. I basically copy your style because it is so effortless. I have learned to enjoy shopping my own closet. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love that braid tick to create waves!! love your style and pup & cat..yes its great for creating the looks with the voguettes ..the last look is something that is worn back in my town Chicago ..hoodies under any jacket when the weather changes so often cold and a hoodie to keep your head out of the wind. then changes to warm you can either remove the coat or hoodie..Gorgeous
Brilliant - but you do need her killer rock chick fringe - it would suit you! It's a really long fringe and your hair would work very well with it. It's a very big part of her look I think.
Oh my god!😭 i love it all and while im watching, it makes me want to open my closet too haha and check if i can copy your style or from Caroline. Much love from me!❤🌹
I understand your passion for Parisian style and minimalism led you to re create French public figures or celebrities style, but sadly as Parisian style follow the specific rules and codes, it looks like you are creating same styles over and over in the past videos, think it would be nice if you try Swedish or Berlin base celebrities style. Still minimal but quite different than Parisian.
I love this series. I agree with another commenter; you "should" think about choosing non-Parisian women to recreate looks from. I would love to see your take on it.
Great styled video. Thanks for helping me elevate and change my basic look. I live in Florida, hot hot so you would you recommend for a classic casual cooler look?
Hi Deborah, have you considered maxi dresses? They can be cooler in the heat than heavy jeans. Dresses can still be mixed and matched. People often think I'm wearing a long skirt when I pair it was a shirt, top or jacket.😉 They look equally cool with Havaianas, flat sandals or heels for an evening look. For fabulous Florida consider cotton fabrics and and paler reflective colors for daytime.
I have lots of summer inspo on this board that I love, maybe you'll find that helpful: www.pinterest.dk/signeh90/springsummer-inspo/ Otherwise stay tuned for my summer capsule video in May!
Love how you are doing this!!!! Such a great video!!!!! Thank you! You've made all icons I have asked for :) Maybe as creative challange someone very different like audrey hepburn or blondie? :)
Right? I hope Signe takes this as a compliment :) . . . Btw, Signe, my favorite was the second (the jeans on jeans outfit). I love how you bring up the idea that we don't need to have a specific something to make a look we like. We can just take the inspiration and do it with our own things :)
you two ARE a perfect team :) Just saw the last video you uploaded and wanted to say congrats on ten years of being together and keeping the love alive.
You always bring great outfit inspirations ,especially they "shopyourowncloset"videos. Have you checked out Alyssa Beltempo ans Justine Leconte s Channels? They both have an similar approach to fashion.I love that the three of you enforce the slow fashion movement. Yeah!
I am loving these outfits Signe! Such a great idea. I just need to find some trendy people to spy on! I noticed that your outfits did not include socks. While I'm loving the look, it's not always practical on wet and cold days to venture outside with bare ankles. What do you suggest with these looks? Thanking you from Adelaide. 😍
Thank you so much! I actually have my take on practical meets chic in this post+video: www.uselesswardrobe.dk/how-to-dress-practical-with-style/ Maybe it can help you!
Fantastic! I'll take a look Signe. Cheers! PS. I wore my white jeans and white t-shirt + black jacket and black shoes to work on Tuesday. I felt comfortable and trendy and was even complimented on my outfit! Thanks again for the tips!
Yet another great video! And I love the song that you are playing thru this video. I'm just going to steal your style, her style and this song! Oh no, I can't find the name of this song, and Siri doesn't recognize it either. Can anybody help me?
I love your videos, but have to agree that it seems you pick someone’s style to copy who has a very similar style to you, which is way you can copy their style from your closet 😬
I feel your looks are too new, refined/fitted w/over done makeup. Think vintage classic tomboy. Her makeup is just mascara if any & no "matte" foundation, concealer..nothing fussy. Braiding was good but don't add curls, instead shake your head upside down, mess it up, spritz a little oil on your fingertips and run your fingers thru from scalp to ends to achieve her look. She prefers vintage.. oversized mens wear...denim, plaid, herringbone, cashmere. I can see how this would be fun to style...you could always apply these tips and try again~
Caroline is gorgeously unique......how do you seriously think you could even come close to replicate her incomparable style.......already waaaaay too much makeup!!!
Lazy way of styling your hair. When I was 6 years old I use to style my hair that way. No way, now. I am a woman. Dress like a woman and look like a woman. I always have. Take no short cuts.
