this is something all guys want, but only a few lucky will ever get. i made my own e-bike by buying a $500 mountain bike and putting a $1000 motor/battery combo kit. it doesn't go nearly as fast but similar fun and always a blast to ride!

I know the first thing that everybody says how expensive these bikes are. I have to agree with them. But let's face it this is the original badass bike that still looks like a bike. There might be cheaper bikes out there with similar specs but none of them will look as good as this bike.

It is a awesome bike. For 15k better be breathtaking or mind blowing, I don't see it worth 15k. Building a diy ebike for 2k will be better than this bike.

i really contemplated buying the b52, but i bought a suzuki dr650 for $3500 and a suzuki drz400 for $3500. got a M1 license and through on a few mods. still cheaper and way more versatile! to splitting lanes on a highway, doing 100mph+, carrying 2 people, carrying 500lbs, eating up the ultra rocky roads in the sierras, not needing to charge just a gas can on multiple day dirt bike adventures. etc etc etc easy choice and better resale!

Not sure but it will make a difference. Use the gravity you have also down hill to save battery power by rolling. When peddling make sure you change gear nicely and make sure it’s in the gear you want before putting loads of pressure on the pedals as this may of been why my gearbox went at just over 1000 miles. It’s easy to get half a gear by error when in a rush to pedel fast.

Why would you buy this for 15k when you could 1. Buy a used car for the same price 2. Buy a motorcycle or Emotorcycle for a couple thousand $ cheaper 3. Build a similar eBike for ~5k, with better specs, and be able to customize it

You can get the stealth p7 for just under 6k and it's much lighter and doesn't break the bank

Cut the back brake wire so it doesn't shut off the motor and you can do wheelies use your back brakes so you don't flip over

Get a 2019 ktm 250sxf and be done with it

Do not be fooled. This bike is no where near worth what they charge for it. Go for a Trek or other well reputable company and save a couple thousand for a much better bike.

I had a Stealth Bomber for 1 month, boring because not much power and pedal is useless cause its to heavy, no fun! Better Get a KTM XC Electric much cheaper, more power and fun :)

The Zero FXS electric motorcycle seems like a way better deal for around the same pricing.

Not hating on your purchase, just a general comment. Looking at the components on it and the frame, and being in the process of building my own, this bike is quite literally a basic ebike frame available from one of many suppliers and fitted with average bicycle components - it's not even mid-drive! Understandably it's for the turn-key consumer, but for anyone with decent DIY skills you could put this together for half that and use better componentry along the way with a mid drive Tangent or Kranked motor for better efficiency and speed. Good choice of brakes at least but it's a serious stretch to say this is 15k worthy.

Sweet, I have 2012 model and a 2014, one Black and one Green, I can't get enough of them. They do cost a lot, but when you ride as much as I do, it's worth it. You have to Ride one to really understand. I can see why your excited.

I sold mine 2 yrs ago, sold it for $7k. I missed it a lot, then I bought a Jeep Wrangler. did you cut the red wire to overide the speed limiter? my favorite feature of that bike is the sequential gearbox, brakes and the powerful motor.. I've had the B-50 Stealth Bomber. always watch out for pedestrians on the trails.. enjoy!

Excellent review! Unfortunately, it would be an arrest in my town, as if you rode out into the neighborhood on a Honda CR-500 dirt bike. ( And you would have spent 1/10 the money to get arrested on the Honda ).

Except the heavy rear wheel there are a lot of advantages, As already commented, the chain and sprockets, but also less moving parts,quiet, relible,less deley from hand to wheel(very importent , respond time).

Its a 10k dollars electric bike... ITS BLOODY AWSOME IM BUYING THIS THING RIGHT NOW

easily gonna buy a used version of this when it goes down in price. Ive seen people do jumps with this that ive only ever seen before on a motocross, this thing is durable. The guy was 5meters up in the aid before landing and 10 meters above ground as highest. Id like to see this thing on a speedway track!
