The Bausele Sydney Diver has military vibes in its DNA. This Mil-Spec dive watch was designed by a panel of veterans, assembled by USA veteran soldiers, and there’s even a bit of soil from US bases in the crown end cap. The reference number is 34101, with the first two digits taken as a nod to “page 34” from the Mil-Spec document they built to; MIL-W-46374-F. This Sydney Diver is a Limited Edition watch, numbered on the caseback, x of 250 pieces.

Yes, the tan mix is dreamy! I loved it more on the tan elastic strap for the same reason...

It's a beauty for sure. It doesn't dress up quite as well as a non IP case, especially since there's no bracelet, but I wore it on the FKM with dress shirts just fine. Black is key.

Holy smokes! Love it! Love the sand in the crown! Love that bezel! Love the dial and colour! Great dimensions too! Love it on the tan-coloured military strap! Shame about the play in the dial tho... That would massively play on my ocd. But other than that I love it!

I'm with you on the black and tan combo! I wore it mostly on the elastic strap. (I feel like none of those wrist shots made the cut, though?! 1 1/2 hours of footage for a 6 min video. You know the pain!)

Wears so comfortably, and not a scratch on this IP coated case. They're a microbrand out of Australia, the name comes from "Beyond AUStralian ELEments."

A very nice looking watch, and good to see it has a mechanical movement - not sure about the soil in the crown though..... The price point is in a very competitive sector of the market. It's 3x the price of a very similar looking Marathon field watch (which also has a mechanical movement, but not a dive bezel)

The soil in the crown is "weird," but it's their thing. They have another diver with sand in the crown from an Australian beach, etc. At the end of the day I think it's cooler than a logo'd crown. For Marathon, if you get into steel and Swiss movements, like this, the price will be comparable. I LOVE Marathon...I have a mini-grail crush for the Artic GSAR Diver in 41mm!

@@WatchWitt I would quite fancy a Marathon quartz Navigator or a Scurfa Mil-Spec as a daily beater. Offering something different is the key - like your channel and the watches you feature. I subscribed after seeing your Klox Carabiner posting. I'm from the UK but am currently in a very large country (stretching from Europe to the Far East of Asia) and the Russians make some amazing watches. I particularly like field and diving watches, and the Russians have a very clever waterproofing system on many of their dive watches in that the water resistance increases according to water pressure. It's a very clever design/engineering solution which I haven't seen from Swiss or Japanese brands.

It’s all relative. For you and me, this could be a save for three years watch, and for others it might be a beater. That’s why for watches that run over $1k, I feature them as Luxury Edition. Probably doesn’t make sense to that beater buyer, because it would be far from luxury for them. But I feel like the majority of my viewers stay under the $1k mark, generally. I’m casting a wide net with this stereotype, though.

Yeah, I love the black and tan…plus the contrast of a SS crown. I’m not usually a fan of black IP coating, but this case is stellar!

That broken dial definitely kills it for me. Soil from mil bases is a gimmick and unserious. Reviewer works very hard editing, presenting the elements in orderly way, and setting up shots. We'll done.

Likely just a movement holder that has come loose. The filled crown cap is something they do...like sand from an Australian beach on another model. Thanks for recognizing the hard work that goes into these videos!

I'm guessing it's an anomaly, like a loose movement holder that missed inspection, but I had to mention it. Everything else is so refined, I can't imagine your watch would encounter the same issue.
