On Saturday September 5th, 2015 the Nickel Plate Road 765 was back in action in the state of Pennsylvania. This time the engine would be running over the former Delaware Lackawanna & Western Mainline through the Pocono Mountains. The train ran from Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, PA to the Delaware Water Gap where the engine would turn on the wye in Portland, PA for the return trip. The 765 was quite a site to see reminiscent of the years her sister engine 759 operated over the Pocono Mainline during the late 1960's and early 1970's. The weather was excellent and the 765 and her crew put on a great show. Please enjoy this video
