Hi Rob & staff. I made door handles similar to the shape of your mold. I cut strips of catalogs/magazines and stacked them till they were desired thickness of my wooden handles. After cutting the contour for the male half of the clamping mold/jig, I placed the flexible stack of cut paper strips onto it and traced the TOP edge of the stack, revealing the necessary cut line for the female half. I can upload photos if this is unclear, but it worked great. I attached the finished handles to my maple French doors with wooden threaded bolts, for an all-wood look. They're gorgeous :-)
hey i got one of these kits and there wasnt an assembly manual or any hardware ( not a big deal ) but, what size is the copper fitting? 1/2", 9/16" or 5/8"? its hard to tell form the video and the manual doesnt state what size.

@@rockler well thanks for the automated response" it was a simple question that doesn't need to be handed off to an automated system that i cant speak to a live representative. Or an email i have to wait hours or days to get the answer. This is the literal official video from this company. You dont have the fitting size? Foeget it, ill take the damn hose to the town and size fit it myself ffs
We are just social media moderators doing our best. The phone number to our product support team is a direct line to the people that are trained in all of our products and have the knowledge and access to the answers for these types of questions. I'm sorry you weren't happy with that reply, but just thought it best to cut out the middle man to give you the best support for your needs. We found that there is a downloadable plan to build a steam box on the product page for this item on our website, and in the description of this video. Here is the direct link to the .pdf plans as well - go.rockler.com/tech/69449-steamer-kit-inst-23.pdf - In the plans it states "Drill a 9/16" hole in the center of the Rear Cap to install the brass steam fitting." Hopefully that helps. Thanks
@@rockler thats fine... all i get from the site ate boliler plate options, as well. Utterly pointless. As i said ill do it myself. Oh btw the downloadable plan still does not state the fitment size.
Again, we recommend reaching out to our product support team at 1-800-260-9663 or support@rockler.com. They will be able to assist you the best. Thanks
Here is the link for the instructions to make the coat rack - go.rockler.com/plans/Steam-Bent-Coat-Hook.pdf - The links in the description have been updated. Thanks
Seems like this would have worked out better with a 1 peice jig where you could have worked it from 1 end to the other, clamping as you go, rather than doing the whole thing at once.
