In the summer of 2005 a special rail tour was run from Kings Lynn to Carlisle and return (The Cumbrian Mountain Express). The train was scheduled to stop at Long Preston in North Yorkshire to take on water and coal.

i was on this tour it was great but it never made it to lynn or never started at lynn it started at downham market
