On Saturday April 9th, 2016 Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 number 611 led a 22 car excursion train from Spencer, NC to Lynchburg, VA over the former Southern railway mainline. It was a cold spring day but the 611 put a great show for the rail fans and train chasers that day. For the next 30 minutes I invite you to sit back and relax as you watch one of the nations finest examples of steam railroading. Also please mind the wind noise as it was a very cold and windy day.
