Yep you got it mate, I was gunna say on one of the other vids, but wasn't sure of how things are in the UK. Class 1 = Brush off - Class 3= White metal finish. Always give the customer what makes them happy.. & for the specs of the coating.. .

@@andrewlee4239 yeah we don't really have set standards to work from so kinda adopted the Swedish standards of SA data sheets for most paint refer to blasting as a clean flat serface free from oils and other loose materials 👍

Oh cool I didn't know if you was going to start with no one to watch over you. When I had lads working for me I always sent them out as a 2 gang even though I do it all on my own. I only have myself to blame if I get hurt with 2 on a job 1 can be makeing sure everything is running smoothly. Other blasting. After so long if anything happens like a pipe bust etc I can feel it nearly instantly and know what to expect in most worst cases. If you have someone to ask questions etc it should set you on the right path 👍 good luck remember don't stick ya fingers were ya wouldn't stick ya cocktail 😉 keeping it pg haha if demand is their I will do a live video ask me anything and I will try my best. I'm getting bombarded with texts and emails asking questions I don't have time to keep replying 1 on 1 (I have the business side to run too also like to switch off sometimes haha) so I may do a monthly live video ask away. I'm far from an expert but willing to share what I know 👍a duno if it will have enough demand I will do a poll one day.

Wing it till you win it 😂 no I don't really know how to answer your question it comes over time all I can say is take all factors in to count not only what will happen but what could happen I know how long each spec will take = how much media derv time that way I have a good idea how much the job will cost me. Even slightly damp media will course the pot to clog my pot is designed to be dry you can get blast pots that's fully wet systems but these start a list of hole new problems 👍

Thx glad you enjoyed 👍 It was in when I got their but it was mentioned I wasn't allowed to enter without hand rails erecting. Obversly with a temporary serface and hand rails will only get in the way so I put it in my risk assessment and method statement that work is to be done from the concrete floor under the beams and not off the boards they are purely in the way and not to be used 😏🤣 heath and safety that's involved in every part of the job even down to escape plan duediligence isn't my strong point but like every other self employed person you have to learn. Just because I can do the job I have to prove that on paper 1st and if I altered any method and anything goes wrong it's 100% my fault. I except if I fall walking on the beams an hurt my self its my fault and I don't have any chance of claiming off anyone because its my fault and done something not on the sheet although it's not practical sometimes just what we have to do so someone is always to blame if something goes wrong

😂😂😂 duno something that will take a week + a suppose 😂 I'm just filling the pot as I text and and I've just about completed the next 2 bays 3 bays left I'm hopeful of getting half of another bay done today then it should be done Wednesday hopefully but I've allowed Thursday to complete if needed 👍

Sa3 is the spec 260cfm is the rate the compressor is pushing @125psi about 95 100psi at the nozzle wich is cdx xl 650 9mm bore. And yeah I forgot to hit the load button on the compressor at the start this gives 60psi off load at 1st I thort I blow a pipe or had a massive air leak then quickly realised it was my fault not pressing the button haha easy fix lol 😂

What sort of equipment? It was fully stripped nothing in this shop

On this job 260cfm 1st few seconds was 260cfm @ 60psi then I hit the full power button 260cfm 125psi nozzle will be 95/100psi 👍
