Steel Division 2 | DLC & bundles guide 

Which SD2 DLC would you recommend to others? Have you played Gates of Hell Ostfront which is a very similar game to Steel Division 2?

The game could really use a 'Game of the year edition' as they was called back in the day, where you get all the current DLC

Hi, thank you so much for this overview and your previous review video. Your videos were the most concise and to-the-point summaries of what this game and the DLCs are about that I could find. Made me finally pull the trigger right at the end of the Steam sale. :) It's always aggravating that these more niche titles don't really get the coverage they need to interest new players that are not already part of the club. (I bought a bunch of other more niche strategy titles recently and they are all great, but for every single one it took me hours of research to come to a decision. For instance, I bought all the newer Strategic Command titles which are truly excellent but for which you will find basically no reviews anywhere on the internet aside from user reviews on Steam and a bunch of selected RU-vid videos.) Anyway, sorry for rambling and best of luck with your channel!

Video title: yes. I've just worked out Paradox DLCs after like 7 years of playing EU4 and HoI4. Now Eugen. Lol. This game seems like a friggin steal at $10 and I dont think the reviews for this game are fair. People thumbs down for reasons that are esoteric, like "I played this game for 400 hours but now it's bad because the DLC is expensive." It's this kind of review on strategy games that absolutely floors me. Maybe because I play board games and tabletop war games. For the price of a single HQ miniature for WH40k you can get a game that requires no painting, no purchase creep (having to keep buying more for your army, adds to painting queue). This game looks like the game I think it's trying to be. Call to Arms Ostfront Gates of Hell Ostfront Arms ... or whatever, it looks like a timekiller but much more limited in scope and complexity. I feel like digital storefronts don't do enough to layout structured comparable dlc packs which adds to the confusion. Imagine if the DLC list wasnt a big fucking column of different entries and was able to be broken up into segments. a section for nemesis packs, a section for reinforcement packs, a section for general campaigns etc. Bundles should highlight the appropriate dlc entries in the storemenu that are included so people know exactly what they actually are for. The developers are definitely complicit in the problem but more could be done by steam and gog to mitigate the worst of it.

appreciate you going through all this. i looked up the game on steam and was immediately overwhelmed and turned off by the number of options. They should probably just bundle all this into a "complete edition" or something.

Great vid I am confused I got the tribute to d day thinking it would be d day missions I guess I'm wrong also last week I got the Dunkirk dlc can't even find it on sd 2?

Is a good game,i play from the begining and i have all content. Is a pleasure to play,i prefer this game from all rts ww2 games.Ferdinant is a slow 200 mm monster. If you known to use him,you destroy all. + In the same division youhave Tiger P and some AAA panther. :)

So many new units, but so few new maps! It's so jarring to play as America/Canada/etc on Russian maps....

ts a good game slow game. but the ai cheat a bit. the ai mortar 81mm can fire way more 3km and know the position of my supply truck with cover. my 81 cant!

just pirate this game and all of their dlc and every installer is just a 1mb executable, so this is content present in the base game from the beggining that you pay to unlock, lmao.
