As many times as you cut him off your saying letting me finish my take is a joke your stock is dropping bro Justin didn’t want to be a steeler to learn from Wilson 2000’s these kids ain’t tryna hear that he tryna Ball because he is nice ! 😂
Those division odds make me laugh. I’m not saying they’ll win it but for the other three to teams to have substantially better odds is a joke. For 3 straight years they’ve thought the Steelers were going to be last in the division. Hasn’t happened yet. I guess if they predict it every year eventually it’ll have to happen right.
My friends, I did the work for you. I looked up "Tommyrot". It is in fact a real word, and we should all add it to our vocabulary. Professor Brou out here teaching the youth.

Because everyone thinks he’s good despite being benched in embarrassing fashion and Nick is the only one who has been correct on Russ. He’s not good anymore lmao
They keep talking about Russ like he is a scrub and does not have a career some QBs would die for! Whereas they speak of Kirk Cousins or Stafford with more regard….
This is the one time I have to disagree with Nick. Deandre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley along with Davante and Jakobi should be ranked higher than the Chiefs duo.
Having Rashee & Hollywood as the 3rd best WR duo in the AFC & then saying it’s insane that Brou has Dhop & Calvin on on his list is so crazy 😭 . Top 5 worst take I’ve ever heard from Nick
Yep Nicks been hating on him a long time. His happiness that Wilson aint as good as he was is too obvious. Media people should be like Wildes and Bru and be ready to change your mind if youre wrong. Brus wrong a lot haha, but at least he changes his mind.

Why would they cut Russ even IF he ends up the backup, they brought him in to mentor Fields regardless if he starts or not...and he's a good model for Fields to follow
I mean I doubt it would happen but maybe if Russ gets benched and takes it poorly it might be better to cut him instead of ruining the locker room chemistry
They didn't bring Russ in to mentor Fields, they signed Russ before they even thought about signing Fields. They might have signed Russ to mentor Pickett but there is no indication that they would have even picked up Fields, if Pickett didn't throw a tantrum about Russ being signed.
The drum roll sets the tone, it must always remain. I have so much respect for Mr. Wright for pushing through the pain and agony. This is akin to McHale playing with a broken leg, it's otherworldy.
The nba should be ashamed. The players dont care about the games so the fans don’t… and now FTF has to talk about NFL even though the seasons been over for a month.
Okay, he has a 3.1% drop rate. That's 100x better than anyone (besides Rice) on the chiefs. He really doesn't have a drop problem, everyone is just terrified about him joining KC and is lying to themselves to feel better.
I think the more important criticism is that he has a limited skill set. He's the deep ball guy, nice straight line speed and that's about it. Can he be used effectively, especially in an offense like KC's? Yes, but he's not a true #1 receiver and he's been asked to be a #1 receiver consistently throughout his carreer, hence his lackluster stats.
@HICKMYSTER10123 so why not? Whats going on in Pittsburgh? Fields seems like an amazing opportunity. Just wondering.... PS- Bears fan here, I like the guy. Sorry for him to go and wishing him success with the Stealers.
It really isn’t, and the Bears knew it. That’s why they sent him there. What idiot believes the Bears wanted to have Fields starting on another squad, getting off to a hot start by using his legs for the first 5-7 games before flaming out, while Caleb struggles over that same 5-7 game period. That would be a nightmare! Can you imagine the chants from the crowds in Chicago, the locker room whispers from teammates who wanted Fields to stay? Even once Russ wins the starting job, CONVINCINGLY AND WITH EASE, I MIGHT ADD, blowhards like Nick will be talking every week about how later on Russ will be benched for Fields.
@@seanmurphy3753: What’s going on is that Russ is a vastly superior QB than Fields even going off of last season, and last season isn’t even the real measure of where Russ is. The media has managed to con people into believing Russ isn’t still an elite QB. It’s bullsh!t. Fields lacks the professionalism, the maturity, the work ethic, the arm talent, the football IQ, the experience, and the durability to start over Russ, and the ball advantage he holds in athletic ability (and it is small!!!), doesn’t even come close to compensating for Russ’s advantages in those other areas. Here are their comparative advantages: Fields: foot-speed, youth, height; Russ: EVERYTHING ELSE!!! Russ by a mile! The Bears knew it, which is why they sent him to Pittsburgh. They cannot have Fields and Caleb starting for the Bears as a rookie and Fields starting at the same time for a different squad. Caleb might indeed struggle. What if Fields looks good for a short time? That would be a nightmare for the Bears, and Caleb’s Bears teammates might actually begin to make some comments that hurt Caleb’s confidence. Most of them wanted Fields to stay, as did a large portion of Bears fans.
That’s exactly right. Fields wanted to go there before he knew his competition would be Russ. The Bears were extremely reluctant to trade Fields to Pittsburgh before Russ went there because Fields could have won win the starting job over Pickett and Rudolph. The Bears couldn’t have that. Imagine Fields starting and playing well while Caleb struggles in Chicago. That would be the Bears’ PR nightmare. So people need to get it right. The Bears didn’t trade Fields to Pittsburgh to “do right by him.” They did it to make sure he spends at least his first year outside of Chicago on the bench, period. Since when does a front office put a player before the team’s own interests? The Bears knew Fields would have no chance of starting over Russ. That’s exactly why Pittsburgh suddenly became a good trade partner for them. They do not need Fields starting, playing well for the first 7 games while Caleb struggles, and everybody second-guessing them for trading him, and they would never put themselves in that position. Fields is taking it like a champion, but he has to be really p!ssed that the Bears didn’t hang onto him until August, when another QB might have been injured and opened the door for him to start. Besides, Fields seems more like an Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, NY type of dude. He’s nearly, the Jets might have been the best spot for him. We know Rodgers won’t play past this year. Russ? He’s going to put a vice-grip on the Steelers’ starting job until he retires, and he will win at least one SB while there.
Exactly! Because remember that the Vears have always been in love with Russ going back to his rookie year and tried to trade for him in 2020. And their new O.C. Is former Seahawks O.C. Shane Waldron. He told them what the deal was with Russ. The Bears know Fields has absolutely ZERO chance of ever seeing the field while playing under an angry, motivated, slimmed down Russ on a loaded Steelers roster that just got way more loaded, after a recent playoff appearance with subpar QB play. That’s why they sent Fields to Pittsburgh. They don’t need Fiekds starting on another squad after they essentially dumped him for an unproven QB. Can you imagine what would happen if Caleb were to struggle while Fields got off to a hot start? I’m not saying the prospect of Fields getting off to a hot start means Fields is QB1 material right now because any backup is capable of looking like a superstar for a chunk of games, but the optics wouldn’t be good for the Bears front office. They sent him to a team they knew would sit his a$$ on the bench. Thats why any talk of Fields winning the starting job is garbage.
The Steelers literally had Cam, TJ and Minkah recruit Russ. If they weren’t all in on Russ, they wouldn’t have gone to the lengths they did to bring him in.
@@psychandson6337 Both teams cut him because he was viewed as disruptive as a backup. It was such a problem that he felt the need to talk about it last spring, because he had been quoted about the guys he would be willing to backup.
It’s not all about stats, it’s about how you manage a game. Russ had decent stats but collectively did not have a good year and closing out games. All his fault? Not at all, however, he also was the reason for many of their losses.
@@davegardner6673: Yeah, you’re buying into the bullsh!t. Russ looked good in 2023. His coach didn’t because his coach was trying to tank. All Sean Payton proved to me was that he doesn’t know how to coach. All QBs are SYSTEM QBs…EVERY QB!!! What you can’t have are system coaches! Bill Belichick is a system coach. Sean Payton is a system coach. Pete Carroll is a system coach. Andy Reid isn’t a system coach. Doug Pedersen isn’t a system coach. Sean McVay isn’t a system coach. They know how to adjust to their talent. Russ managed to nearly get his team into the playoffs with his own coach purposely trying to lose games. So you thought no the other 8 or so teams that were still interested in Russ were stupid? Yes, Russ could be had for $1.2M, but that was only part of the equation. If he were washed, they wouldn’t have wanted him at all. And the Giants would’ve wound up starting Russ if he had chosen them. They just needed to play Daniel Jones for a few games, pray for an injury to another team’s QB, and send him packing. Riss is not only still a top QB, he’s still elite! Quit listening to Nick Wright’s bs. He hates Russ now because Russ is in the AFC, and his boy Mahomes almost never plays well enough to beat Russ. They’ve matched up 5 times, and Russ has outperformed him in 4 of those matchups, including both 2022 losses to the Chiefs while in Denver. Until 2021, when it became clear that Russ wanted out of Seattle (despite his famous last words), Nick had Russ ranked as the #2 QB in the NFL, and many in 2019 and 2020 had him #1. Russ only became a problem for Nick when it became clear that Russ would be playing in the AFC…the best closer the game has ever seen in the AFC. I’ll bet he had to wear Depends for a month after that trade went down! 😂 Nick and the Chiefs got lucky that the Broncos organization and roster were a mess. This time, they won’t be so lucky I’m afraid. You’re about to see 2020 Russell come back to life, and THAT Russ is arguably the best in the game! Deal with it!
Bro did you just show up this offseason?🤣🤣 it was shoved down his and all of our throats when he got traded to broncos, they were talked about like they were better than the chiefs 2 years ago when Russ went, pls do research before getting mad at nothing
Nobody thought Broncos were ever better than chiefs lol. Even this year Bronco had the 3rd worse defensein the league, the fact they almost made playoffs is crazy@@kdubs928
Because most starters especially QBs who think they still good enough wouldn't want to come off the bench to someone they still believe they're better then
After looking over the WR depth charts in the AFC, here's my list (based on receiver ability alone, not QB play behind them): 1) Tyreek Hill & Jaylen Waddle 2) Ja'Marr Chase & Tee Higgins 3) Garrett Wilson & Mike Williams 4) Rashee Rice & Marquise Brown 5) Nico Collins & Tank Dell 6) Davante Adams & Jakobi Meyers 7) Calvin Ridley & DeAndre Hopkins 8) Stefon Diggs & Khalil Shakir 9) Michael Pittman Jr. & Josh Downs 10) Zay Flowers & Rashod Bateman 11) Christian Kirk & Gabe Davis 12) Courtland Sutton & Tim Patrick 13) Amari Cooper & Jerry Jeudy 14) George Pickens & Van Jefferson 15) Kendrick Bourne & DeMario Douglas 16) Joshua Palmer & Quentin Johnston
Another great show from the boys! Just wanted to say that I'm a huge fan but I actually had a dislike for Brou and Nick individually as sports analysts before they were on this show together. Since then imo they've been the absolute best sports debate show going the last year or 2. Since Uncle Shay left Undisputed that show has gone downhill and allowed me to watch more of these guys and I'm glad I did.. The 3 of them have great chemistry and play off of each other very well. Not to mention, theres some real sports debate happening here, not just yelling and making hot takes for clicks.. Not that arguments don't happen, but they've been putting down a great product for us overall and have changed my mind on Nick and Brou. I enjoy the dynamic they have and enjoy the nuanced discussions that not a lot of other shows have right now. Great work boys keep it up!!!!

Nick just understands what the team says can change on a whim. Especially if they start losing games. Bit i agree if tomlin says hes the starter is gonna stick with him as long as possible

Is Nick a narcissist? He honestly seems to get a bit tight when Brou or Wyles take on topics varies from his; actually responds like they are simply wrong and he is right.
I would argue he's the only one with a somewhat realistic outlook on Russ. Maybe a bit cynical but when everyone trots out the stats that were clearly padded as opposed to actually watching the games I can understand why he's having to go even harder and double down on how bad Russ has played independent of how the stats look.
@@hulkstr03he was average last season for someone that didn't want him or even respect him. 1st year Denver wanted odgers. Just saying let the man play and see. If he fails he fails but this Fields is the answer is laughable in itself but that's just my view 😊
He does that with a lot of different players in different sports , Josh Allen , Joker for three years until this year , he makes it personal in his criticism
@Charles-3900 honestly, if you haven't paid attention, nick perceives any particular slight or improvement of another player or team against his favorites (lebron, Mahomes, Chiefs, etc) he tends to go a bit hard
Nick has been right about Russ for the last two years. Hard to argue with any of his takes on him. Definitely convinced me that if Russ gets benched he’d be salty and try to leave.
