Ppl don't like non-detachable cables because if the cable fails, the keyboard fails. Also with a removable cable comes the option to customize the cable in length and aesthetic. There are some incredible custom cables you can get that can be an awesome cherry on top of your rig
Quite louder. This keyboard comes in Brown, Blue, and I believe one other switch. Think of these having a membrane feel, but quite similar to the quality, features, and sound of Cherry MX switches. The Hybrid-Blue switches compare to Cherry MX blue switches, which give you that nice clicky sound. Hope this helps!!
@@gagedaniel158 Nope, This keyboard only comes comes with blue switches. I have the Apex 7 TKL brown switches that one u can get blue, red and brown. I think red is quieter as it's linear whereas brown is tactile and quiet but if you type fast it does be loud
For your detachable cable comment, some people want to be able to put custom cables, although the ones who complain are just keyboard enthusiasts who would never buy this keyboard it still is nice to have a cable you can detach
I won't buy anything from SteelSeries ever after what they did with Ideazon. I got a long memory. Don't kid yourselves people, you don't have an actual gaming keyboard all you really have is a regularly keyboard with pretty lights. So what did they do? They bought Ideazon for no other reason than greed. Ideazon were makers of the Z-board and Merc Stealth keyboards. These were true gaming keyboards you'll easily see that if you just google them. After having bought the only true gaming keyboard company, they then proceeded not to support the keyboards with updated drivers for Win 8 and updated game profiles. It was a deliberate effort to kill these REAL gaming keyboards in favor of their inferior regular keyboards they threw some rgb lights on and called them gaming keyboards. Now everybody thinks they have a gaming keyboard when they really don't have squat. Younger generation gamers are now totally ignorant as to what a gaming keyboard should be as a result. What, you think we are just going to forget your nefarious activities? Nope. I have at least 3 Z-boards and a Merc Stealth that I use and they are superior true gaming. They are like the keyboard equivalent of the Logitech G502 Hero gaming mouse.
@@harmonshies6962 Not at all. I'm calling attention to the fact someone needs to make an actual gaming keyboard already. How hard can it be? Don't call it a gaming keyboard when it is clearly not.
@tr3v0r LMBO! That is not a gaming keyboard by any stretch. Go look at a SteelSeries Merc Stealth or Ideazon Z-board. Those are gaming keyboards. This you see here is just a regular keyboard with pretty lights.
