Battery plus bulbs has changed their policy you have to buy a key from them because they don’t want to risk putting Anyone’s car in limp mode using a key fob from an outside source that’s “not compatible with there software “. So I went to a car lock smith and he did perfectly again everyone thinks the remote start doesn’t work but it does

So I can swap my 2006 crown Victoria cluster to a 2007-2011 cluster crown Victoria or a Grand Marquis with the same look I was told I can only use 2006 crown Victoria model
This is one of the best videos I have stumbled upon. I was actually looking to understand why my blinkers didn't work when I added a led driving light with a sequential turn .. I haven't narrowed it down just yet. I believe it is the relay. If I have just one turn signal on, it will work. If I connect 2 lights to it, no go. I'm thinking of just adding female slide female terminals to the relay... plug male plugs into the fuse box and securely fasten. Does anyone know the wire ga to the turn signals are?
do they sell the same color green that the factory backlighting is but just brighter? i like the factory green color, it's just a little too dim sometimes.
2006 clusters also did not have a cruise control light!!! i had an 06 and was going to install cruise but i noticed when i tested all the bulbs there is no light for CC!! 2007 later they moved some lights around and put the CC light in the tachometer.
The first mistake we made guys is buying a ford ..these things leak pretty quick sometimes not all of these leak slow . I'm replacing one again 3 in 5 years replace asap cause the longer you wait the more they will leak keep a chk on it even after you replace it they don't last long.
I fixed that and there’s still a small leak coming from under the fan wheel mount area I’m a novice do you know the name of that area and what I could possibly do to fix it cheaply? I unfortunately live in the car and it’s all I have. thank you for your time.
My local Honda dealership won’t even bother, even when I show up cash ready. I also drive 2019 accord lx and been wanting to get remote start but you seem to have made it clear and I’m going to chance it
I have this same unit and after putting in new speakers, I can’t get sound to come out. The speakers connections are secure and there are no blown fuses. When the head unit comes on, I do hear a mild pop from the speakers, but no sound. Can’t figure it out for the life of me. Was hoping maybe you (or someone could help).
I just did it a hour ago on my 2018 sport with a cheap amazon fob and can confirm this Hack still works! Its awsome! The mobile lock smith was skeptical and very suprised it worked. And both of my stock remotes still work as well. Thanks for the awsome video.
Bro how did you get the double din to fit? I have that one in my 01 merc but the factory radio is double din front and goes into a single dash….and my radio is partially poking out.
Bought fob and programmed it myself I use an Ancel VCI wireless automotive diagnostic tool which allowed me to program the fob myself and my original 2 still worked just fine ..I have an LX and it works the fibs now are averaging about 35 to 37 dollors
these parts are notorious for leaking this whole 1:00 thing is plastic this is all 1:24 plastic this is a three piece unit there's 1:59 three plastic fins right here there's a 2:02 rubber what should be like a rubbery 2:07 gasket it's like rock hard and then 2:11 there's three fins here I think this universal part fits on 2:46 other models too so one of these two 2:49 goes for your sensor that is the outlet 2:55 and that goes into the engine block down 2:57 here and yeah this thing is just ninety 3:02 probably ninety percent of the four 3:04 liter engines a leak they 3:49 make metal replacements i really suggest 3:51 going for the middle one if you can 3:53 afford it but it's about a hundred and 3:55 seventy bucks it's a Dorman part I watched to the end twice, and still can't figure out what part this is. I want to order a new one, but what is it? I showed this clip to the clerk and he said "Tell me what it is, and I'll order you one." It's a 3 piece unit. It's a Doorman part They make metal replacements Jeeze, it's ok, I'll find a engine schematic instead. You went through all this trouble to help, why didn't you just say what you got to replace this coolant intersection?
