We lost so many Engineers and tradesmen, now we will lose our Doctors and nurses. 😢

I have 3 doctors in my social circle, one is heading to Scotland (anaesthetist) and two are going to Australia (surgeon and GP). Their houses are sold, tickets are booked and they are gone… that’s just in my circle, and I’m not even a doctor, so imagine how many more I would know about if I was! All have said that it’s because of the NHI, as well as other factors like crime, safety, corruption, education level for their children etc. But most importantly the NHI because under it they will no longer be able to sustain their families and the benefits of their long hard work and successful careers. The ANC needs to go, and not just half go by bolstering their numbers with coalitions. The only way they can truly be out, is if people vote with their heads. Please don’t waste your vote on smaller minority parties like ACDP or any other party than the DA, not because you fully support the DA, but because they are the biggest opposition party to the ANC and have the best chance of defeating them. I understand the “better the devil we know” argument but we know this devil (ANC) way too well now and we have seen them slowly but repeatedly destroy our country over the last 30 years! And yes that is 30 years / 3 decades / a 3rd of a century!!! How much longer does the entire country need to suffer under the false illusion and guise of fixing apartheid yet they (ANC) are doing nothing for the people apartheid hurt the most? The only people who the ANC (read including EFF and MK) will ever help, is themselves and their comrades in the struggle. They will help themselves to stealing most of the 15% VAT and income tax from every single person, from grocery packer to CEOs. They will distribute it to their own families and connections, but not to the poor, not to those living in townships, not to anyone but themselves. All while you, the brick layer, breathe concrete dust and die trying to make a living when they single-handedly made it 20% more expensive to live in just the last 3 years. Use your vote and voice wisely, this may very well be the best and only time it will ever count. Typically the kind of person leaving SA would vote DA, I fear after this election and knowing what is to come if the DA (strongest non ANC party) doesn’t win, there will be no one left to vote out the ANC and their cadres. This is the time South Africa, make it count!
