I totally agree with what you said about shows/movies where the plot is a girl going back & forth between guys. But when you watch this show in its entirety, you realize it's really more about the bond between Damon & Stefan. That's why it's my fav show ever

Elena has nothing to do with the heroines of the soap operas who jump from man to man, and marry now the son, now the father. fate isn't just a word in the vampire diaries! there's a hell of a lot going on! as for stefan and his "bad habits", klaus says it most clearly:- i learned some of my best tricks from him. said from a thousand year old vampire, that really means something! 😊

There's a lot of reasons to hate Elena but going back and forth isn't one. Yeah, she dated both but with context, it's understandable and when she chooses she sticks to her choice.

Lmao “stef-phan” Kai would be proud. Edit: yeah the back and forth is pretty regular with Elena/Damon/Stefan for the first 3/4 seasons it’s like that and that’s why people are saying to watch the originals instead.

A True Ripper is definitely a better video for Stefan's character. He is very layered and complex. Amazing character.

After a certain point, this show started to take turns that really bugged me and I stopped watching. I’ve watched parts of it years later. For all its annoyances, it still manages to make me so emotional. 😂 Something about eternity, death, love, family, identity, volatility, the list goes on.

It's my least fav point too, when a ckt jump back and forth between love interests, but it's not really the case here so don't worry, it's just elena initally falls in love with Stefan, which was like a love at first sight situation and develops very fast, she stays with him for a while and then falls madly in love with Damon and then ended up with him till the end. Also she was never the reason for the brothers' fallout, the brothers loved each other more than anything.

could you react to Klaus & Camille || "I will carry you with me" and klamille acting like a married couple for 6 minutes, so you can see klaus being soft with someone other than his daughter hope

From some part yes it gets annoying ab the back and forth but the show is a lot more than that u hve to watch to understand it

If I’m being honest there really isn’t much back n fourth in the show. She is with one brother for literally one season and the rest of the show she’s with the other she still has love for Stefan tho. And they both move on and become just like friends

Let me say you something... Hah Shane, is that you? It was annoying how they did this love triangle. I didn't believe it. I would say that TVD is very much about relationships with a girl, there is less family there, but with the Originals it’s the opposite. But by the way, I also don’t like that in those videos about Klaus there isn’t enough of him and Caroline. It is clear that the materials are taken more from the Originals, but I think Care had a big influence on him. Well, given the writers’ mistakes, they slightly reset Klaus’s character at the beginning of the spin-off. He said a phrase about the light of Caroline, she say that he is a good deep inside and so on. And then they rolled it back so that his family and another blonde would repeat it in a more extended way.

That's why you need to start with The Originals. While TVD is a great show, it is more or less engraved in love stories. TO has a more mature content and deals with family issues. But still both are good.

Elena was the worst character imo, and it was mainly because of the flip-flopping between the brothers. Even when she wasn't dating either of them she was still keeping them both in the wings...much like you, its also why I couldn't stand the Notebook.
