Who pays massive respect to an opponent you beat 6-2, 6-1. Do you think if it had been Seles winning by that score she would have raved "Steffi is so amazing and played such an amazing match". Actually to do that would almost be mocking your opponent. The classy thing was to do as Steffi said and say little about an opponent who had just received a humiliating smackdown. Seles loonies way of potraying her as unbeatable, and the best player ever: 1. Any match she lost after the stabbing doesnt count. 2. Any match she lost before 1991 doesnt count, unless the head to head with Graf is talked about and then 1990 counts just for that. 3. Any match that isnt a slam doesnt count. 4. Any slam she didnt win in the couple years before the stabbing has an excuse so it doesnt count- she either didnt grunt or was with Donald Drump. and voila unbeatable Seles, hahahaha

I think even if monica was at her best and into it more, l think she probably would of lost in 3 sets, as steffi was playing well but going on monicas aus 93 open final form,l think the title would of been hers in 93 if not for the stabbing

Monica then won the next 2 slams, beating Graf in one of them, proving that she was still #1. And then Parche had enough and stabbed Monica, and soon after Graf became #1 again and won everything. What a sad story :(

@GoTeam whatever Steffi won was when seles started her career and later ppst stabbing.. Steffi lost three grand slam finals to seles..in wimbledon they harassed her about grunting.. made threats calls so many stupid things.. to disturb her mental frame and won..Steffi was always second to Seles..
@GoTeam Steffi lost her number one status for 2 1/2 years to Seles and couldn't regain until the stabbing..anyone who followed tennis knew that.. probably one must enquire if it was done y Steffi..she was such a loser and fake lady..whats the point of winning when you have lost the spirit of the sport

To demand from the greats of the sport to always be #1 during their whole career is asinine. Seles‘s two best years 1991/92 also were two of Steffi‘s worst years (11th and 9th-best winning percentage). What about comparing Steffi‘s great 1988/89 years with Seles‘s 2001/02 years? 😂
