I would think that for Sonic 3 they would go for an "adaptation," don't know if that's what you would call it but hopefully close, of SA2, it wouldn't really make sense for Shadow to have guns there. Again, could be wrong they might try to include Shadow's game in the movie but I don't think that is the obvious choice. Of course, if they do choose to make a Shadow the Hedgehog movie and base it off the games, I can absolutely understand your frustration.

@@ethanlam9072 As far as I remember, Shadow the Hedgehog was the only game where Shadow ever used guns. The closest we've gotten since then was him briefly holding a gun in the Lego Dimensions spinoff, but that was mostly just a visual gag about how Sega is never going to do that again. So if Shadow doesn't have guns in the movie, that's just consistency on their refusal to give anybody a gun that isn't a robot in Sonic stuff as a result of Shadow the Hedgehog.
