i really wanted you to cover the ost for this when i got to hear it. i was so shockingly impressed at the diversity in their sound and how sincere it plays into the genres that they pay respects to but honestly man, i just didnt wanna comment it and sound like a perv hahahaha, i was gonna be like "the soundtrack slaps man i swear to god" but i love how much you doubled down on this haha

Shift Up used all the money from it's gacha Waifu game (Nikke: Goddess of Victory), to make the perfect regular waifu game, it's absolute brilliance! Thee know character design and music alright

The soundtrack is incredibly strong and varied. You’ll walk into a new area or interact with an item that brings up a new menu? It’s an acoustic dopamine hit around every turn. It even extends to the damn sound effects. The sound that plays when you find a can? The satisfying CRACK of a perfect parry, the bass heavy sound for a perfect dodge?

Beyond Fate is definitely my favorite song in the game. Marco describes it perfectly - haunting and ethereal.

Finally!! Marco is one of the few that actually noticed how GOOD the music in Stellar Blade is!

there really is a lot more to this game than the appearance of eve. unfortunately people will blindly hate it because of eve’s appearance, but it won’t affect the quality of this game. it has one of my favorite osts of all time and some of the most fun gameplay i’ve seen. they really did something special.

Its interesting that some of the best soundtracks are from anime ish games that often involve fanservice like nier. It makes me wonder if the music is so good because of the creators having the open mind to embrace sensuality as art.

I love the Stellar Blade so much. I immediately began New Game Plus after my first playthrough. The story, aesthetics, and the combat are all amazing. But what has given me the long lasting positive impression of Stellar Blade is it's soundtrack! I've been listening to it nonstop all day. It's always the games with 10/10 soundtracks that become part of my all time favorite video games. I can't wait for you to dive deep on the OST's composition.

I'm not surprised that Shift Up cooked a banger soundtrack for Stellar Blade, because NIKKE also has tons of banger music and quite diverse in genres as well. Even when they drop an event that is more laid back and slice of life, it still has its own theme song. And don't get me started on events that are huge lore reveals.

I sat at a camp last night with the music playing and just left the game running for half an hour while reading a book for a bit. It’s SO good and I hope to god they release the full OST on vinyl at some point. That bad boys going right into my collection if so. Looking forward to the breakdowns at a later date. I don’t know any Korean but I think they’re using “chaos language” again for this OST in parts? Any Kpop fans out there who know of Korean artists who have a similar vibe to some of these tracks drop me some names, I need more of this.

Yes... I got Stellar Ca - Blade for the music, too. Two pieces of... music. 👍 But, seriously, Stellar Blade as a whole actually has incredible music. The Eidos 7 area hit me almost immediately, which makes me want to just sit back and chill. Made it a point to listen to all the music Shift Up uploaded.

Stellar Blade is easily one of my soundtracks of all time. I was already exited knowing it was coming partly from the composer of Nier which I already adore their work. They killed it.
