Stellar Blade Is a Game Worth Celebrating (Review) 

I would most of the time find myself using the default outfit or Planet Diving Suits because it’s deemed combat armor design is fitting into the game. I would always focus on looking around me and the enemy rather than Eve. The only time I would look at her is if I’m vibing at an area with no enemies ie Oasis and camps.

If people think Stellar Blade is hyper sexualized than Bayonetta is chopped liver because Stellar Blade isn’t even that sexualized and if people don’t like that sort of thing than simple solution don’t buy the game, the game has shown multiple times it’s going to have camera angles that the player can use and outfits you can dress her up in.

They don't really believe it is hyper sexualized, they're just lying to gin up outrage and get the game censored. They partially succeeded.

Feminists like Bayonetta. The problem with this was never the sexualisation. The problem is how it doesn't fit the character and is inappropriate for the context. Bayonetta is completely compatible with feminist philosophy. Even real wiccan witches - who are mostly feminists since they're linked the LeVayan Satanism, which is a left wing religigion - get naked to be "sky-clad" for magic rituals, and consider their hair a source of feminine magical power, and celebrate women's seductive power as a form of magic. Eve is oblivious to her allure, and no of the characters acknowledge it, so it's blatantly there just for the player, which as a trashy kind of 4th wall break, since the beauty is solely aimed at the player

@@TheGamerTronShow I mean it can't be understated how passive aggressive these outlets were towards the game, a game that for once (for the most part) they have no control or sway over, you can tell how badly they want to "educate" ShiftUp or even get Sweet Baby involved -- and its still a factor/possibility that could be a reality so like yea, this game is sorta picking a fight

@@fentyykatsucorp They were aggressive towards the game because the devs created a needless controversy with the sexualised character design.

@@Bahamut3525 ion know how that's the devs fault, plus Cyberpunk/Hades/BG3 have sexualized designs but I didn't see anyone complaining

Well, Kim did hint at a potential sequel already. Plus, the ending is a total giveaway. The game has sold incredibly well and received a lot of positive reviews (aside from the controversy). It's fair to assume there will be a sequel. Especially w/ the ending. When that will be, is up in the air. Since it looks like Shiftup's already on the lookout for their next project; a cross-platform sci-fi action RPG, and it's not Stellar Blade 2.

@@HellzAssassn Who knows what the next game will he maybe they want to try their hand at adding RPG elements to the game this time.. I doubt it, but hopeful we don't have to wait 5+ years.

@@HellzAssassn I've ironically Applied for a job relating to Project Eve so who knows I'm hopeful since I've got tons of experience and worked on some pretty big AAA games in the past currently working for AMD as a driver Dev lol.

if seeing less of EVE makes it less iconic, that's... less than ideal xD whether I can see EVE's cameltoe or not, she's still hot af, and the game is still amazing to play.
