I know this is really random but I’d been in a real gaming stump couldn’t really find anything to play and some of your videos got me back into stellaris just wanted to thank you man
These videos are such a great unwinder for me. School is going... poorly and these videos really bring a light to a hard day. All your videos do! Thanks.
I know how hard it's been this year, its been the same for me.... but thank you for making us these videos man, I look forward to these. keep up the good work!
@@kosmonaft he means 2021 it's common to refer to this year when meaning the previous year for a short time after the year change (assumption on my part)
Seriously. Like, take care of yourself as priority one, but over the last year these longer videos have been invaluable for passing the time and staying sane. Also, comments for the comment god, engagement for the engagement throne, etc. etc.
Lath, you literally recreated wh40k necrons and then proceeded to make their current lore main goal as a race come true ... and i absolutely frikin loved it! Thanks man.
I subscribed to the mod right after your previous video, having a blast with it, on my third playthrough with it. Thanks for bringing my attention to it, I love machine empires even more now
As always super relaxing to chill out and watch a full playthrough, would love to see you go back to gigastructures and have the aeternum guaranteed to spawn to see what you do.
Love these full playthroughs I'm in a pre army volunteer year (I live in country with compulsory army service) and moved from home to a commune with 7 others, these videos are always what I watch to relax before sleep and have been really helping me, keep them up lathrix!
Yes. I was looking forward to this videos looking at the video feed in a free moment every now and then. Here’s to the first snazzy Stellaris full play through video of 2022!
I absolutely adore these videos! Please more! :) Also... I love the idea that an earlier version of the contingency is what actually destroyed the species long long ago, NOT the fallen empire.
Love Full playthroughs like this. Always happy whenever you upload and I love listening to you rambling about the various traits and civics in the opening. Edit: Future Sheep here. Future Lathrix is always a treat to hear and hearing LathFiance was unexpected.
Your full playthroughs are my absolute favorite! And I've been really excited to see you take on this mod. As a machine-freak myself, this looks downright incredible. Thanks Lathrix!
I do quite enjoy these videos. I'd love to see you do a role-playing run on Ancient cache of technologies. It adds a lot to mid/late game, more tech and lots more interactions with fallen empires. ACoT and gigastructures together make for tons of fun and are my favorite way to play stellaris.
(To the pacing of 'Go Speed Racer, Go!', humming "Go Cloud Lightning, Go Cloud Lightning, Go Cloud Lightning, Go!!") Glorious one to watch, thank you Lathrix!
I love these full playthroughs! I usually put one on when I can't get to sleep. You and Potato McWhiskey are the only reason I get any rest some weeks 😅
These Stellaris playthroughs are some of my favorite to watch while working. Doing my part so you continue to make em so I can continue to listen while working.
I always love seeing these series. Make sure you keep shilling Lathrix, don’t let the algorithm control you. Put out content you enjoy doing and the community will love it regardless. We are here for you.
gives me the giggle when we get the "death to the channel" bit, not that I argue with the almight algorthum but they are the only thing of yours I reliably watch, thanks for making stellaris fun
So good videos. I even recommend you to someone at the stellaris subreddit who looked after someone who does more roleplay. For me you are the best stellaris youtuber
Hey, Lathrix! Amazing to see another full one from you! Also, the second I saw the progression and then I saw which portrait you had chosen for the hybrids, I had one thought: Cylons. These be Cylons. Perfect.
Hey Lathrix. For your next modded playthroughs i think it would be really fun to watch: "Unique Ascencion Perks" or "Expanded stellaris ascencion perks" aswell as "Prescursor/Archeology story pack" these 2 are from the same creator of the machine addon mod. Either way, love these rp/lore modded runs.
To be honest a bunch of robots turning human but somewhere in the process they unlock psychic abilities and their ships literally shoot lightning..... this game is scary sometimes
17:20 Yeah, when I build species traits and ethics/civics for an empire, I usually go for the thematically appropriate ones over the gameplay-synergy ones. Like, sure this science-focused empire would have some science-boosting traits, but they're also kind of insane and pursuing science purely for its own sake so they'd also have Repugnant or Wasteful.
Let me just leave a comment of appreciation for all your videos. You've been among my favourite youtubers for quite a few years now! Since robocraft days!
Modern technology is actually working with "bio-robots" now, because theres certain things that flesh actually does better than machine at least in our current understanding of mechanical stuff. Ever since i learned of that ive had the idea in my head of a machine race striving to become hybrid because while the mechanical mind is superior to the flesh one, the reaction speed and mobility of the flesh is better than the machine's. And of course humans striving for the opposite putting them at odds. Course by "reaction" i mean twitch reflexes. A machine likely wouldnt have that unless they were biomechanical.
To add to your comment, the better things are usually movement related, as our muscles and bones can bend better compared to mechanical stuff. We are more flexible, and durable, we don't break easy.
@@xeanderman6688 Also, we can heal. Scientists even stated that part of the reason theyre looking into biomechanical robots is they can get them to actually heal, albeit very minor wounds righ tnow. Realistically unless "living metal" is a thing, full mechanical robots wouldnt naturally heal. And if living metal does exist then biomechanical is kinda moot anyway lol
There needs to be a mod that just causes ALL crisis to spawn that are possible to spawn (i.e. not having their point of origin already conquered beforehand, or ones that directly contradict each other like the L-gate crisis and other L-gate events). So scourge AND unbidden AND Contingency at the same time! If such a mod exists, then Lathy needs to use it. Maybe go a bit "easy" by only setting it to 10x modifier the first time (since if there are three at once, that effectively would make it "sorta 30x" crisis strength).
on the mechanical world bit, kept saying at screen “ look at the district for the love of your hopes and dreams look at the districts” this being where the main job bonuses are located
You're videos always make me wish i had a pc, I've been playing Stellaris console edition on my old xbox one, and just wish we had so much of what nemesis alone adds, not to mention mods.
Lath: Releases a new long Stellaris. Me: *Click, Like and Comment at the start.* Lath: "... 'like the video and comment'..." Me: *lays back wich Popcorn* Already done, mate.
