If you wouldn't mind me asking, how come u don't upload terratech as much anymore, I love watching those video and I'm not a fan of stellaris

@@spacial7816 he's been sick and busy and Stellaris seems to be like a relatively easy thing to record, if not time-consuming, and a lot of people enjoy it. He has mentioned in videos thus that he's trying to get caught up and is aware he's way more behind than he would like. :)

Generally that early on It's the wraith being killed, which isn't nearly as difficult as other leviathans - I seen It a few times now so It isn't as much a shock! :P

@@Lathland and it was the Remnants who took the leviathan, a fallen empire

Javier Zurera - Ah, then it was almost certainly the wraith as the wraith can happily run right into marauder or fallen empire territory and is pretty much doomed at this point! Unless a fallen empire was already punishing a nearby empire already, either hitting the wraith or another leviathan though the latter is far less likely!

Javier Zurera - It's because those systems were not directly attached to my systems when they attacked them, and as they landed the final blow they claimed it. It was FAR closer to my empire, but It's all about attachment first THEN whoever landed the final hit, which was them!

Me: “Ah, that was fun. I enslaved yet another empire. Don’t think I played too long...” Me: *Checks time and sees it’s 1:30 AM.* Me: “Wait a moment...” Me: *sees I’ve been playing for 6 hours.” Me: “WHAT THE FU-“

I was honestly planning on grabbing some of that space myself, but the allied ground forces grabbed the planet as I started to move out to grab the systems. Should have moved a bit quicker, but I also was worried about the other empires forces attacking so I wanted it over quickly to ensure I got the world.

It's common to all empires when your ally grabs a system that's near your border you get it except if they've claimed it

Haha yeah I've done that before in various runs! But since I could invade the world and not spend the colonisation cost along with having a few populations to assimilate I thought It was better to wait. :)

If you go down the route of the genetic ascension hives mind can actually take over and assimilate populations they take from planets during invasions! It's just more mid-late game than the robotic equivalent! :)

Or just eat them. And their world

Spacial Stellaris is better change my mind

U might like it we we all have our own opinions, and I prefer terratech. The gameplay is more fun to me

Im the same, like I said u might like stellaris and that's your opinion and there is nothing wrong with that but I don't see why u like it so much, I love watching terratech and that's my opinion

Spacial personally I like Stellaris because it has a point and a challenge it also i like the strategy of it and that’s why I’m excited for this play through because it is amazingly challenging also I’m not a fan of building games personally

Also, you can bombard a colonizing planet to remove the colony

Haha yeah I've done that before! But I wanted the populations as new drones rather than have to pay to re-colonise the world :)

Also, if you noticed that ally (the Tronzaru Replicators) took some systems nearby, that hapepened he captured a system which was not one jump away from any of the systems you currently owned or fully controled. In that case the system is rewarded to the attacker, who in this case was your ally. Now, if there is a system which is one jump away from both allies, (I THINK) it's rewarded to the attacker.

I almost always go for choke points, check out my other recent playthroughs for some pretty extreme cases of that! I was already going for the choke point to the right when I found the other empire, likely because the advanced start had already gave it that territory with it being so close to their homeworld, I was slow to grab it due to not knowing about If the other systems above that connected outwards or not and was focused on getting the first world and getting the choke point to stop the machine empire from expanding. :) I expected to have a bit more time to grab the systems so really I should have just been more aggressive with that, IF they didn't have the system to begin with anyway! Will be more aggressive with it moving forwards, though do remember this run has increased hyperlane density so good choke points are far less common.

Sadly the game just doesn't let you pick opposite ethics, so you also couldn't be pacifist + militarist in that way either.

Sadly the organic populations don't have their own civics like Syncretic evolution, they are just lovely little drones of the machine empire to grow to begin with! Though having three species at the start like that would be hilarious! :)

@@Lathland Curses! there goes my mental image of robots tending to snails that puppet around rock monsters I'd guess being a Machine Intelligence axes the Rogue Servitors having Syncretic Evolution as well?

Haha yeah sadly, though a lovely dream If you choose the machine intelligence you cannot use any civics but their own.

It happened to be a pretty decent start, actually. He managed go to a war and win in less than 30 years into the game.

Yes I'm fully aware of this, however the more friendly someone is with you the higher chance you can recruit them into wars you start using that drop down menu, I didn't expect it to be guaranteed - I didn't mean that they should be with me because I have a defensive pact specifically, I was just hoping they would join due to both empires disliking the one I wished to wage war on and that we had a very strong relationship thanks to the trust modifier from the pact. :) I've been in enough games with defensive pacts and started enough wars to understand thats not how defensive pacts work haha!

@@Lathland ai pretty aggressive and seeing how long it took for them to go from wary to friendly... I'm not expecting them to join the crusade any time soon XD

Yeah until federations they are unlikely to join us in purging or assimilating all the foul organic empires, but one can dream!
