The new treasure hunter one is a lot of fun but I think my favorite is actually from a mod. Eden Protocol. You start off as a robotic race caretaking a data bank of genetic specimens. You cant settle planets, you live on Habitats only. You have two unique buildings that auto terraform planets then settles primatives on them. You gain a ton of unity and research per primative in your empire. its a fun build.
You could have made Hydra empire as well, and force them to spawn in the game. Even better, you could give Hydras syncretic evolution origin, where they have Salamander species in their Empire, tailored to be soldiers.
Man i did not realise it has been so long since i watched or played Stellaris. So much has changed. Good to see you are starting a new campain with a really interesting premise.
Nice to see you back in Stellaris. I know your love has been on other games recently, but I like you most in either civ or then you are "telling a story" in games like Crusader Kings or Stellaris. Keep up the good work. And keep the diversity so there is something for both me and others :)
My greatest accomplishment in this game so far is starting with the payback origin, working my way up the galactic ladder, and becoming the galactic emperor.
Quill, I know you can change advisor voice after start. consider "solider" advisor.. feels likes a great fit for the endless resistance playthrough (its under the empire setting (clicking on the empire symbol/logo))
You should replace your Head of Research with the new scientist, considering that he has a trait that works only when the leader has a council seat, while your current Head of Research doesn't have any traits related to being on the council.
Just in case you have to say it again (@15:37 ), that’s pronounced “SUSS-kwə-HAN-ə”. More of an emphasis on the HAN than the SUSS, in my experience. All glory to the Resistance!
I have a feeling Quill should have played on a lower difficulty being he hasn't played for I think two (three?) major expansions and several major patches. But maybe Quill will prove me wrong.
Am I the only person who thinks if the AI empires bar isn't full, it's a cheat mode? You have so much more room to expand it takes away nearly all the challenge.
