I🎯 Key points for quick navigation: 🎨 Use heavyweight card for stencils, at least 220 gsm for durability. 🔪 A scalpel with a 10A blade is recommended for detailed cutting. 🎯 Start with a basic design and add structural lines to strengthen the stencil. ⏳ Take your time cutting; wiggly lines add depth and avoid monotony. 🌟 Maintain distance when spray-painting to prevent drips; move constantly. 🎭 Experiment with multiple layers for depth, using light sprays for guidance. 🖌️ Add texture and detail to enhance your stencil art's visual appeal. 💡 Have fun and personalize your art with paint splatters and creative touches. @ZappaCrepz sory but ya wrong it's a money washing operation for rich people, actually registered on business house over like 20 companies with money spread between them. Unfortunately theirs no art hero it's all a scam for money, 0 skill involved spray painting a printed stencil.
'gms' is not thickness. It is gsm for 'gram per meter square' and it represents the mass of card or paper for 1 square meter :). 120 gsm is a paper that would have a mass of 120 g for a surface of 1 m2.
Thank you for the easy to follow tutorial! I've got a stencil art assignment for my art class and I'm feeling a little bit anxious on how to go about making it asdjha
@@Cutitout. It's been months, but I finished my assignment and it turned out pretty decently thanks to the advice in this video! My arms hurt like hell the next day though, I guess pressing down on the button is too much for my weak artist arms lol
I am not artistic whatsoever, I can't draw anything, maybe I can print something and cut it out. I just had an idea one day I was trying to figure out what color to spray paint my ps4, then I thought maybe I should do a stencils art of a video game. I might try it, but it would probably be a complicated picture. We'll see, I'll practice on some canvases first
Excellent tutorial, thank you! On the final spray you say to align the stencil precisely, but I noticed yours was off a little bit. But it created a wonderful 3-D effect since it was misaligned slightly. Happy accident!
Idk why I'm here but God I love a good stencil. So easy to make, but they can be endlessly complex and there is something beautiful about that kind of art form. Thanks for sharing!
This is a great vid. So much helpful information just in the first minute alone. Nice one, I'm off to try my first stencil and cut up my mum's table. Peace 🤘
Looks like I need a beginners tutorial on constructing LETTERS ----the old way !-by measuring each letter --using a pencil & ruler - but everyone seems to paint them FREEHAND !!----Thats just showing off !!
little did we know that this was the real banksy, just so u know banksy once sell his painting at the street for 60 buck and only lucky people buying it 😇
Well thankyou --you at least show us a scalpel & special blades --not a clumsy STANLRY KNIFE---very crude! And you don't cheat using a computer printout----well done ---I wanted to construct letters for a sign --free hand --no computer -- now I know I I must draw them-- still have no idea how to construct the letters --using old methods --love your skull --nicely drawn --but its a daunting task cutting out letters ---requires a lot of practise!
Anyone in the US have links/ alternative suggestions for the card? Been looking all over for 220 GSM, but barely any site specify that and when I do find some, they're usually around 170GSM. Please and thank you! xo
Hi, gms means grams per square meter 🤗 representing the weight of it, which usually translates to quantity. The heavier the paper the thicker it is and the more it can absorb.
Can’t go wrong with this video, googled how to stencil first thing that came up… I’m not an artist so need to scope a pdf I can print off I’m guessing as I want a big Banksy style for an inside wall! Good video 🙌👌🏻
