What a beautiful part of the world you live in, Paul, with a wonderful sense of community. The houses are gorgeous! 🤩 I could sit at your “sea of tranquility” and watch the geese all day long. We have plenty of hawks here and a group of wild turkeys 🦃 that roam the neighborhood. I love the young boy being like a fan meeting a celebrity. Good stuff. The chair! That chair is awesome! I love Autumn 🍂 in your area. I lived for many years in Missouri and always loved the fall colors. When you said how flat Illinois is with cornfields all around, I thought about visiting a friend that lived near Quincy and I was surprised how flat it was "just across the river" from Missouri! This was such a delightful video with the countryside, beautiful trees, geese, viewers (always a plus), those offering you scrap, and the really cool safari artwork that thankfully you didn't scrap! Nice chair too!

That Lil thing with the animals used to be a little park bench I wanted one for my older kids and kept forgetting now they are all middle school and older . The catch of adult attention problems! I never get used to how much stuff people throw away I even recycle my tin cans I have no place to recycle glass but a friend does so I take it to her house when I visit. Take 20 minutes of tranquility you’ve earned it 😍

That young boy was truly awesome .He was so excited to meet you. The song "Blue Skies " was by Ella Fitzgerald if I remember correctly. I thought you had seen the animals on that garden bench back when you picked it up . I would unscrew it from the wood paint it black and hang it on the wall. I was hoping you wouldn't have scrapped the animal wall art I love it. Maybe you can have a new frame for it. That metal cabinet would have been awesome to restore and the sink looked in good condition maybe a couple of Jefferson's worth
Cast iron sinks are hard to come by. Most of the houses that were built in the forties, and fifties had cast iron sinks, and tub's. My neighbor just bought an 1940's American tutor house, him and his wife are sold into fully restoring back to that era. Cast iron sinks, and bathroom tubes are on there search list.
Loved the blue sky and your Tranquility Moment! Heard you mention wood stove. Have you seen a pellet burning stove/fire place? That chair looked very comfy!

Activated in 1915, as the 173rd Infantry Brigade, the unit saw service in World War II but is best known for its actions during the Vietnam War.(Wikipedia) I think we have fought for our freedom in Europe too. If you are serious about a wood stove in your shop. My suggestion would be to go to a wood stove shop/ expert, that also does installation. That way you get the right one for your shop size and it's setup as to not burn it down. With saying that I have had wood stovesin just about every shop I have owned. I love them and have never had a problem with them. One suggestion I would have is to have a top on it big enough to heat coffee on, it's the best when going to work all day in the shop. Just a thought

Another beautiful blue sky and I enjoy the twenty seconds of tranquility especially when you show the pond It's time for the geese to fly south now The field near my house was filled with snow geese yesterday had to be thousands of them sometimes they can be miles long flying above the highway It's a great sight to see, neverending geese and the noise of them honking too Glad you picked up that chair it looks like brand new good score and free🇨🇦🦩

When I was a kid I lived in an apartment building and someone (I never knew who) had a beautiful mostly tan greyhound. Very friendly! It would always be alone when I seen it on the elevator and it would get off on the main floor and wait for me to open the door then it would go for a walk. I'm guessing it would come back and wait for someone to open the door to come in and then wait for the elevator to take him to whichever floor of the building it lived on.
I guess you must be really lucky, furniture without pest in it. Sometimes not, possible could. I pray not any. Nature is wonderful being connected to. Always observing all around feels great.

I have a wood stove in my garage and not hard to put in all you need is black pipe from the stove and going out the wall with the lid on top with a smoker come out what wire screen around it snow birds or nothing like that can get into a squirrels and that
