Hey space cadets!!!

There are so many "paint a galaxy" tutorials that suck something fierce when you watch them, this was so refreshing! There was skill and knowledge together, and a beautiful piece at the end. Thank you so much! We can delete everyone's crappy galaxy paints now.

For months i have been looking all over You tube for some guidance on doing really good galaxy paintings, especially with nebulas. ...Finally I have found you. This changes everything for me. I am so excited. So today I begin watching all your galaxy videos and using your techniques. It all makes so much more sense.

Hi Lanchan, I just stumbled upon your channel and so glad I did. I was looking for some inspiritation to paint do galaxy painting and seemed to have hit a brick wall. I did the under painting of black on canvas a while ago, and so it just stayed on my easel. Thank you so much for this tutorial, I am ready to proceed with my painting.

Hmm... well with acrylic If you’re having a hard time blending then you might no be adding enough water to your mixture!!

When you are adding in your initial colors for the background, like the blue and yellow, is your brush dry or damp?

My brush is dry but it only works if you work fast while blending. You can dip your brush in some water too and work that way as well but you will need to make sure your acrylic has dried for at least an hour

She doesn’t really SHOW how to do anything actually. And considering the fact that she paints galaxies exclusively, you’d think her videos would be more informative on the techniques she uses to create them. She won’t even explain how she creates those beautiful stars, so it’s like, what’s the point of her videos? For us to watch her paint? Because they’re definitely NOT tutorials lol ... but also not amazing enough to watch , just for the sake of watching, her create the same theme repeatedly 🥱

What brush/technique should I use if I don’t have a blending brush?

I don’t use blending brushes either so you’re in luck! It’s hard for me to recommend anything because the way I paint is so specific I use round bristle brushes which are very rough but some people prefer a really softt brushes for galaxies

Does anyone know what that tool she uses when doing the stars? It's not a brush, the metal tool. She refers to it as a star brush, but I don't think that is a thing, so what is it?

I prefer it not talking because I love watching to music but a lot of my subscribers prefer the chatting over top of the videos so Ive been trying to keep that for them
