Hello, I would like to ask a few questions: 1) Can this recorder be connected to a TV or monitor? 2) Can this recorder be installed with a hard disk? 3) If the camera signal is not good, can I use a network cable to connect it? 4) Can the solar panel be separated and installed in a location with better sunlight?

The simple answer to all is no unfortunately except with the the signal. I can attest that I have no issues with signal!

I’ve gotten the exact same camera but don’t have the Aosu base plate the box thing you installed next to your router is that needed for the camera to work or can you just connect the camera to the wifi?

Yes. So far so good. I had to adjust the location of my front camera as it wasn’t getting proper access to the sun for charging but since I moved it no issues. The back has had perfect sunset access so again…. No issues.

They advertise this camera as having auto tracking, and the cameras communicate in that if someone runs around your house, the cameras will track them and record it as a single event. Have you had the opportunity to confirm this feature?

Absolutely does! Once someone or something is in view…. It will track them follow them and record to almost 360 degrees. Love ours!

Hate ask but how old is your router from your provider? We had ours for nearly 7 years and I ended up calling ours and they sent me a new better one!

I have brandnew router and home base is next to the router. My cams worked great first week now front one keeps going offline, did you ever get a fix?

It is actually just an OK camera compared to other similarly priced options, lacking features like setting perimeters and zones. The tracking is pretty flaky too and does not always follow the subject completely. The App needs some attention too.

Thanks for comment your experience. So my backyard can has worked flawlessly since I got it. Every time my dog goes out it fiollows him around. My front yard camera on the other hand has had some issues. A lot is the fact I didn’t put it in a great spot to get the correct amount of sunlight it needs to charge correctly. I may have to relocate it.

Where does it say that? I just check the link and item description and I can’t seem to find that in the Title or Description. It does require WiFi connectivity and need your phone for the App. I don’t have any affiliation with them but wanted to see for myself unless I’m missing it!

I tried to like this camera but I just couldn't. The rotating camera is glitchy and laggy. And the wifi is weak on the camera.

I’m exchanging the one on my front door with a different version of the same brand. I just don’t get enough sun to charge it. The new one has a detached solar panel so I should be able to mount the panel on the side of the pole. Sorry it didn’t work for ya! My latest short video is recorded using the camera in the backyard! It’s kinda funny!

I bought these but the end user agreement basically says that Aosu owns the images they store from your cameras. That they share your data from the app, your phone and cameras with , and that they can’t guarantee the security of any recordings of minors. I am returning these. Trading off digital security for some cameras isn’t worth it.

But doesn't everything does... these days? Just be mindful of what you point your cameras at. Your cell phones can be hacked at any moment computers etc. Unless your going back to landlines with the phone that has that old school turn around dial instead of a key pad or living in a cave with no electronics. I'm getting one and if they want to share pictures of random people passing by. Be my guess. My only concern is that the people that pass by won't try anything.

I installed mine yesterday. The directions aren’t very good and the cameras don’t track like they’re supposed to. Also my alarms turn on by themselves, even after I’ve disabled them. If I leave my house and go to town, they don’t alert my phone of any people or vehicles going by. This system isn’t very good and doesn’t do what is advertised. Can’t talk to a rep because they aren’t available when I’m not at work. No 24 hours service available. Won’t recommend this product.

Man that sucks! Sorry it’s not working as it’s supposed too! Mine are still working with no issues. I do have problems with my front charging but I mounted in a bad spot. I have a new one coming that has a detached solar panel so pretty excited to see how that one works out!
