for $450....hmmm....right off the bat, during assembly, the belt drive for x and y....not thrilled....the 70W spindle?....would have liked to see at least 300W....so for me, i'd pass....i know thru experience a weak spindle and belt drive system is just bad news in terms of consistency...,.nice vid though....
on marketplace, i PU an electronic craftsman radial arm saw with a killer miter guage that was included....$25....added neg hook blade for safety and smooth cuts
Looks like a great accessory. I’m curious - what is the advantage of using the miter slot as opposed to making a simpler jig that runs against the fence with no rail for the miter slot?
Just trying it from Dollar Tree for the 1st time, you hit the nail right on the head, they're really sweet- two bites & I'm reaching for a bottle of hot sauce to add a few drops, & I don't really care for spicy noodles but not used to sweet ones, I also drained the excess liquid!
Ive seen them for free but i own 2 of them. Keep watching youtube there is a guy who made a jig to cut perfect 45 dgr miter every time with the saw set at 90dgr and you can use it to make picture frames cut like its crown moldings.
Hello there, need advice, which better, that is speed 150 1time cutting, or make it 800speed, 5 time repeat?? (100% power) i just think, make it more speed but repeat, to safe the dioda laser machine (not sure that is right or not LOL)
Nope! More power faster. Don’t be fooled by people saying 100% power is bad. They don’t know what they’re talking about. Lasers were meant to be used. Higher power and less passes. You’ll have less charring too! If you’re not sure …. Make a circle or box and on a section of the wood that’s waste…. Set to 8-9 passes and count how many it takes it to drop. This is how many passes you’ll need for the project and add 1 for good measure. All wood is different so hopefully this helps some!
I was so excited when I bought one. Sadly I returned it 2 days later. The only pro was being able to have it flat against the wall. The cons, It would not fit in my dust hood which is rather large. The handle is so high when in the up position that it would hit the top. It has a laser line (useless) instead of an led cut line. But the biggest con I found was the safety switch on the bottom of the handle, It was very uncomfortable Having to activate it with your thumb and reach all the way around the rather large handle to pull the trigger. And no, I do not have small hands lol. That coupled with how high the handle sits makes it even more anti ergonomic. Maybe because I've used a 12" DeWalt sliding compound for the last 30 years or so that I am just used to that. Hope you have a different experience with it. Your dust hood looks smaller than mine. How did it fit? Mine is 24" high and 15" deep.
I've had a couple of these Bosch miter saws over the last dozen years and love it. The only downside is the dust collection. The best aftermarket replacement for the crappy OEM Bosch dust collection assembly is from MechWorks3D on Etzy. I've tried a few others but was disappointed that they shattered on impact from a small offcut. This guy figured out how to make a great working dust collection assembly that is durable with much better suction than the OEM version due to the included larger diameter hose. If Bosch was smart, they'd add these to all their new saws to give them a big advantage over the crazy expensive Festool miter saw. I like the MechWorks3D so much, I bought a second one in case they're no longer available in the future and I wear out my saw, like the first one, and need to buy another..
@@TheCrawlspaceCraftsman You'll like it. I see he has them discounted now but I wouldn't wait too long. These are 3D printed and who knows if/when he may stop making these to move on to different things.
I put one on my kitchen door that opens into my patio. It took the cat a few days to get comfortable with it. I've had mine now for two years and it's like new, but it doesn't get any direct sunlight. It is a french door and the screen is noticeable from the inside but the woven grid pattern is fine. I thought abought buying white mesh but was worried it would show dirt and dust. NOTE: My SIL has a *huge* golden lab (breeder for seeing eye dogs), a pittie, and three cats. She has a panel that fits into the sliding door's screen track that is clear plastic on top and a doggie door on the bottom. She can leave the door open, close the screen door (which then touches the panel) and still let the animals come and go. It she closes the door all the way the doggie door is blocked. For an active household this is a better choice than the hanging screen. Her door opening is at least 15 inches wider than yours.
I’m glad I came across your video. I’m really getting into pallet building and I have the pallet buster but that palm nailer looks awesome because that’s one of the downsides is extracting all the freaking nails. I just checked harbor freight and they have them for $30. I still thinks it’s worth it. I love harbor freight and I know you do to because I’m always coming across your videos. Keep up the good positive work.
That’s awesome! I’m glad the video helped! You should try the support on the opposite end of the pallet to help break them apart! It really helps! Thanks for the comment and hope ya subscribed! 😇
Heya Scott! I’ve really put that off for a little while but plan on adding to by August. If you go the my link.tree in the comments there is a link there.
I had a Great Dane and she was the best dog I ever had she was gently and the best companion in the world she lived to be 10 and always loved her toys she was scared of butterflies I sure do miss her you can’t go wrong having a Great Dane and this little fellow is just to darn cute.
This is the best assembly tutorial out there. Great videography. A lot of assembly tutorials make awkward jump cuts right when you are trying to see what is going on. And a lot of assembly tutorials have awkward camera angles where you can't even see what they person is doing. This tutorial has perfect videography. Thank you. I really appreciate it.
It’s the spindle that’s loud. The stock 70w spindle literally sounds like an RC car at full speed. If you upgrade the spindle to a palm router… well… that’s a different story. Hope that helps gauge the sound a little.
The sample video to assemble the machine on the page, as far as I put it together is fine, here we put it together well, guiding us, only if they could make a video showing how to install the programs or get it running, this part only video only shows the accessory small h does not have a computer, and the information in the manual does not help much in this part, in conclusion, we bought the machine with the laser kit and we have not been able to make it work. More information about mostar is needed from the programming part for it to work, we hope to receive
Make sure you downloads Lightburn for the Laser software. It costs about $60 and there are a lot of videos on that software. For CNCing I recommend Easel by Inventables to start. It’s pretty easy and there are alot of tutorials on that as well. Hopefully that guides you in the right starting direction. Follow me on Facebook and feel free to message me there!
Nope. It’s a safety warning lettting anyone know that the door is about to shut. Being you can shut it from anywhere….. you wouldn’t want to hurt anyone.
You can set the sensitivity. It would catch the cars driving down the street so I had to reduce to because my phone kept going off! LoL! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for that! It’s hard to believe my kiddos are going into their Senior Year of High School! I miss doing videos like this but they shy’d away from making videos! Thanks again for watching!
