Hey Friends! Today I am sharing with you how to clean your printhead and also how to clear clogged nozzles in your desktop DTF printer. I have the Epson R1390 but it is very similar to the L1800 and other models. I hope this video helps you if you are in search of answering questions about DTF issues. Hello how are you ? Great video. I have a question my printer cartridge moves when you turn it on when it slides back to the side and tries to move again it makes a loud noise then the ink and paper light starts flashing

You have ink in the way I guarantee. I had this problem. Try to find a hunk of ink somewhere in your cleaning station. It's blocking.

This happened all the time with mine. I would reset it and clean around bc there may be ink stuck. After mine did this the motherboard went out. I hope you have great luck with yours though. 🩷

@@nikibbrown get a alcohol pad and clean your encoder strip, and reset your waste ink counter. download the software called (EPSON "your model" RESETTER)

hey there!, got a question here, i got a broken lines on white chanel when i nozzle check, and i already flushing from nozzle like what u did, the upper and bottom section spray nicely, but mid section not spraying, any idea how to solve this ?

That means it's clogged. I would try to do it again bc it means that is clogged up. I have some special cleaner I have for my 24 inch printer called Red or you can find the other called Crimson... it gets clogs out🩷

So my printer stopped printing white yesterday and i did EVERYTHING but the part where the tube goes on with a cleaner. I dont have the cleaner available and need to do it now. Can i use distilled water instead?

It's printhead cleaning solution... I wipe the rest with alcohol

I’ve done this and now I’m having a error saying my ink cartridges aren’t comps with my printer. Now what? Have you had this at all. I have a constant red light on my ink drop button on the front and I’m stuck

there is a youtube video abt the red light... search for it, I believe you have to reset the firmware

I've been having an issue since i got my machine ( this past weekend). It's not wanting to print red correctectly or anything involving red ... its spotted like and textured looking almost like cheetah print !! Its weird ... and i cant seem to fix it

the most issue with epson dtf printheads its with clogged manifold filter the very first thing witch is clogged is manifold because inside the manifold are micro filters

that's true. here in the Philippines, its very dry. So as a printing business owner, we always put a cleaning solution at the capping station so that the nozzle plate keeps wet all the time.
